Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Aaron's Royal City stuff. As tor the Guthrie album, It's more musically varied production and songwise than his previous one. I'm pleasantly surprised, I think it's the best thing he's done.

^That's very cool. I've had a similar experience a few times when buying used records in garage sales (found a few unexpected autographs.)

I've only given it one spin so far, but it went down pretty good I must say. It's a solid blast of catchy power pop, perfect soundtrack to a sunny day like today. NP:

Definitely. As a huge Beatles fan and a musician this book was a definite must have. I've toyed with getting this one too: http://www.recordingthebeatles.com/ Anyone read it? -

I got mine a few years back, it was in the discount book section for $12.99. So they can be found fairly cheap these days if you're lucky. -
Damn. George was one of the greatest voices in Country or any genre for that matter.

SOS is my favorite ABBA song so that would be my write-in vote too.

I haven't heard the latest Edwyn record but have read good things about it. I quite like Orange Juice. A few years back I bought this disc which I'd highly recommend: http://www.allmusic.com/album/the-glasgow-school-mw0000451886
