Regardless of it being constructed like a Michael Moore film, it's the story and the people--and how serious they take things--that make this film great. I enjoyed it way more than I expected I would.

It's a very nice sounding vinyl to CD transfer with some bonus tracks. If you're interested in getting a copy, PM me and I can help you out. Was: Now:

Who are the 5 best live bands you've ever seen?

Bourbon Tabernacle Choir Prince Paul Westerberg Bruce Springsteen Wilco I really haven't seen nearly enough of my favorite bands live. I'm sure my list would be different if I had. -
Going to Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Milan
GtrPlyr replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Barcelona - I loved this city: beautiful and vibrant. I agree with the Gaudi suggestions--all the Gaudi buildings (Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo...) and Park Guell are worth visiting. Also the Picasso Museum, better collection than what they have in Paris. A trip to the top of the city where the big fountain is a must: beautiful view of the city, and a great place to relax for a bit. The Olympic grounds are pretty cool too. Make sure to have some Paella while you're there if you can. Rome - Like others have mentioned: St Peters, Spanish Steps, walk around Piazza Navona (watch out for panhandl -

The introduction is just about perfect on that. Page was great at coming up with pretty chords and riffs in alternate tunings.

As a fellow Harry obsessive, I too am slowly trying to get everything the man has put out (good and bad, I want to hear it all.) Harry is definitely in my top 10 all-time favorite musicians, and one of my biggest musical inspirations. Going through his discography, I see I have the majority of the records (ones in bold I still need to get.) * Hollywood Dreamer (Recorded In 1962) * Spotlight on Nilsson (1966) (Tower Records) * Pandemonium Shadow Show (1967) (RCA Records) * Aerial Ballet (1968) (RCA Records) * Skidoo (soundtrack) (1968) (RCA Records) * Harry (1969) (R

I have most of his records so you can count me as a fan. And "Dress Sexy at My Funeral" is one of the greatest songs ever.

Wayne's gone off about quite a few people, maybe he's just not the fairest judge of character. Maybe he is, but let's face it, anyone can be caught in a bad moment and look like a jerk, or be misinterpreted that way. You really have to spend some time with a person and get to know them before you start making character assassinations. Anyhow, both bands have put out some really great music. End of story as far as I'm concerned.

The movie is good, but the soundtrack is even better (one of my favorite soundtracks ever.)

These are the ones I would recommend too.

There has been a lot of love given these guys here, especially for their latest disc "Furr."

Watched "The Black Cat" from this collection. Karloff and Lugosi star in this film based on a Poe story.

They did the same over/underrated thing with The Replacements, and that article just seemed to prove that the writer really had no clue about The Replacements and their fans. Where did they get this idea that everyone hates "Heavy Metal Drummer"? My impression is that the majority of people here have either loved, or at least liked the song at some point. I still like the song, probably always will.

Watched this one because I'm a huge Harry Nilsson fan. I've heard people claim this is the worst film ever made. I wouldn't go that far as I've seen worse, nevertheless, if you're not a Nilsson or Ringo Starr fan you might want to avoid this. The one saving grace of the film is the music thankfully.

I love your consistency with the Lightfoot on Sundays froggie .

I got interrupted earlier during my first listen through so I can't give a fair assessment of this yet. The first 2 songs seemed to be typical well crafted Keene guitar pop, so this has potential...
