Testing to see if this thread will show up when I hit "view new content" after I have posted in it. Edit: Nope.. Still not showing up. I just hit "view new content" and this thread is no where to be found... -
Moss - First of all; thanks for taking the time to download and listen to our record. Like I was telling Crow and PT, it's extremely helpful to receive honest constructive reviews of our music. I'm especially flattered by your comment "I will absolutely be playing this one again on my own for enjoyment.". This shows that we are on the right track.. I play/write music for my enjoyment, but more importantly for others to enjoy. Thanks again my friend! Matt

Yep that's what it is. If I post a reply in any thread, that thread will no longer show up when I hit the "view new content" link. Maybe a setting? Or a bug? -
I find myself having Panther moments while being intoxicated at parties.. My friends ask me"dude, what the hell are you talking about?".

It might just be me, but certain threads don't show up when I click the "View New Content" link. For example, this thread doesn't show in the list. Wait, this thread doesn't show up either.. Hmm.. -
There are similarities to be found like there are with AM, Being There, Summerteeth, and YHF. I think AGIB was drastically different than their previous albums, and SBS, WTA, are similar to AGIB in certain aways. So in other words, their first four albums all had similarities with each other, then the next three albums had similarities with each other. Make sense? The formula is something like this: [AM - Being There - Summerteeth - YHF] - All similar in certain ways (alt-country, rock, with some experimentation on all four albums) [AGIB - SBS - WTA-???] - All similar in certain way

I've listened to it off and on, but haven't completely obsessed over it.. yet.. I'm sure it'll happen eventually like every Wilco album has for me. I really love it, it just hasn't soaked in yet completely. But "You and I" led me to check out more Feist. I picked up "The Reminder".. Man that chick can sing.

Wow.. Thanks a million Crow Daddy. This is exactly what we were looking for. See the reply I sent you to your email. Moss - We haven't officially released this album yet, so you're more than welcome to grab the download. PM me for the link. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the review Pop Todd! I'll be sharing this with the other band members tonight. Like I was telling Crow in an email, these are the first true reviews we've had. We've sold some CD's at shows and have received overall positive feedback, but this the first time that anyone is getting into the guts of the record. I really appreciate your feedback, and I'm glad you enjoy. And BTW Pop Todd - Did you get my reply about your CD? I LOVE it.. and I'm not just being nice because you reviewed my record.. The album is really good. It's very poppy, but in a unique way.. which mak

I REALLY liked that title, but the other members had other titles they liked better.. So we couldn't decide on one stick with, so we decided to self title our first record. I'm still going to name a song Letters I Never Sent though. Hey, if you like what you hear shoot me an email to socalledstar@yahoo.com and I'll hook you up. Yeah, check it out let me know what you think. The myspace songs are kind of low quality and they are from and older mix, but you'll get the picture. Thanks!

Yeah, doesn't effect anything, they still work. It's almost like it's trying to display a "PM sent successfully" message, but instead it doesn't have the text available so it comes back with "undefined".. I'm no db expert, but that's just my guess. -

Everything seems to be working good except for PMs (not sure if you are already aware). They work, but I get a message that says "undefined". No biggie, just letting you know. Thanks for all your work.. I work in IT so I know what you've been going through. -
Well, PM's were kind of working earlier, but now they aren't again.. I think. You can just email me at socalledstar@yahoo.com and I'll reply with the link.
-
Excellent my friend. I'll take as many reviews as I can get. PM will be sent shortly.
-
Well, I tried to PM you the link, but looks like PMs aren't working. Can you please email me at socalledstar @ yahoo dot com and I'll send you the link. Thanks!!
-
Awesome, thanks PopTodd. Give me some time to upload the album (sorry, should have done this already) and I'll send you a link. Thanks again my friend.

Bump. Bored today? Help a brother out?

You know, I'm not even sure what version (too lazy to get it out right now) but it's pretty old. The MAC was purchased back in 2004. I'll check out Time Machine.. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the reply. I do have a way to backup just the data to an external HD, but I was wondering if there was a way to make a complete restore-able clone of the OS. I do this all the time with Windows using Ghost, ImageDrive, etc., so I was wondering if there was a way to do it with a MAC. I do have mac OSX on CD, but its just nice to have the ability to restore completely from image. That way all settings etc. are preserved.

My fellow VC friends: I would like someone to review my bands new album, and I was wondering if there were any music/album reviewers/critics in the house? It doesn't have to be someone that is employed by a review company or website (pitchfork, etc.) but that would still be very cool and acceptable. Anyone that has 45 minutes (length of album) and loves music. This is not an attempt at shameless self promotion, it's just that my band and I worked VERY hard on this album (almost destroyed my marriage and my liver) and we would like a full review of it. What's in it for you? You

Ok, so I have a MAC with Pro Tools installed that I use at my "home studio". It would suck extremely bad if the OS ever got corrupted so bad that I could no longer boot. I was thinking it would be wise to create a complete clone/image of the OS. Any one ever done this? Recommend any method or software (preferably free) that can accomplish this?

You basically have to sacrifice your first born child to get that link to work, but thanks for posting.

Yes. Glad to see VC still has it's since of humor, even with all of the changes and outages.
