I'm a big fan of the Olympics. I can do without some of the side stories but the competition is great to watch. It's also one thing that you can watch with the family without being overly concerned with content. I'm looking forward to the swimming in particular.

can you actually buy those? Those things are about as irritating as can be. Talk about meaningless support of a cause. If those magnets are bringing any additional support or awareness to a cause, I'd be shocked.

You weren't actually considering editing my post, were you? I was simply making fun of buffoonery chain emails that float around. I agree with your assessment that some folks are very reverential about the flag. I'm ok with that. It's just ridiculous that much of this 'controversy' around the lapel pin, the plane, etc. is not based in any facts. Beyond that, it hides or buries the real issues that impact the people who are so very fond of said flag. Most of it, from my view, is based on lightly veiled racism. edit: That, and I was just trying to lighten it up in here a bit. Proceed.

Agreed. I bought it almost solely for the Alejandro highlights. It is solid all the way through.

normal... it takes a bit of getting used to and definitely robs some of the songs but I love the album as a whole.

If I had a plane, it would be painted like the US flag and I wouldn't even let it land as I wouldn't want the flag touching the ground.

My sister-in-law sent a chain mail indicating that Obama does not have a flag on his plane. This is almost as nauseating as a dipshit sister-in-law that makes her voting decisions based on a chain mail.
