This may be as close to a fact as anything posted in this thread. -
KRS One hit with a bottle and fractures hand

Was the story somewhat fabricated? -
I hear positive reviews about the movie but they are somewhat overshadowed by the fact that he showed his ball sack.

Not blashemous. -
That's the best I've heard him sound in years. Coincidentally, for those of you that don't know, one of Tweedy's first songs was called "Train" and featured a Roger McGuinn reference.

I don't agree with you but it's funny. I think the Ramones may be the most overrated band in history. -
I couldn't get the link video to work but found a copy on youtube. Despite it appearing as if someone just videotaped their tv, it is an awesome performance. The fact that this was on a tv show, is even more impressive. Letterman appeared to be blown away. These guys are quickly becoming one of my favorite artists.

Listened to Brighter Than Creation's Day on the way to work. Now I can't get "Baby every bone in my body

Big vibes.... glad this turned out well. Really scary to think about how things could have shaken out.

It actually shook our bed. In all of my years, I have never experienced an earthquake in Illinois. Wild stuff.

I once fell asleep on the floor with the TV on. True story. -

Happy 40th!

No, pretty sure it's the beeper king. I did like when Jason Sudeikas was on though. He's one of the standouts on SNL in my book.

New ...with Liz's ex-boyfriend returning.

I think a better choice might be Awakenings. I don't see Pacino in such a vulnerable role. Overall, I don't even think Pacino is a close 2nd to DeNiro. However, there is no accounting for personal preference.

That son of a cocksucker better be displaying at least two of these on his bumper:

The Raconteurs Iron & Wine The Black Keys Okkervil River Alejandro Escovedo Drive-By Truckers Every year I talk about going to this and every year I don't. Many on the list are intriguing but the artists above would more than make this worthwhile for me.

I sure hope so. Yes, Heat was fucking boring. Seemed that what they lacked in plot they made up for in length. Maybe relying a bit much on the DeNiro/Pacino involvement?
-
Agreed... difficult to compare them. It's like comparing rock & roll and classical.

After spending a few weeks with this album, I think it's solid all the way through. Seems it missed the mark for many people but I can't count myself among them. Too early to tell but I may prefer this to Broken Boy Soldier. And I'll 3rd, or 4th, "Carolina Drama". Seems an odd choice to close the album but it works.
