I know that this thread is only interesting to a handful of people but I thought it deserved some attention outside of "Now Drinking". When they pulled Bell's from Illinois, it just plain hurt. Looks like Larry Bell, the owner, came up with a creative solution which will ultimately lead him to get sued immediately. He's a craft beer pioneer and it's great what he's doing. The fact that he pulled out of Chicago is related to some archaic law from prohibition times that resulted in the largest distributor for Miller limiting their beer sales here. Linky

BRox are a great band and Zoysia definitely ranks up there with their best albums. After watching those YouTubes of he and Jeff playing together, I agree that they should definitely work together again. Maybe he can ask Brian to play on his solo album?

I love the Office... the 1 hour episodes were a bit weak but back in their 30 minute spots they have found their groove again. However 30 Rock is starting to take the lead in my opinion That show is just unreal.

I guess my point is that I don't believe that it will make them a better team. It may make them a "better team" for some portion of the year but I don't believe that he is a team player. Additionally, I've been turned off of the NBA by players not unlike Kobe. I prefer the college style where passing and assists are more predominant. That said, I'm more than comfortable with you having the opinion that this is a good thing so I'll just go ahead and leave it at that.

He is undoubtedly a great player. However, as he's shown, and many have shown before him, a great player does not equate to a great team. I was actually starting to come around to Pro Basketball again due to the Bulls being really watchable and a team that I can respect. This would send me running in the opposite direction.

Thanks for posting... I would have forgotten completely. These guys have to be one of the most underrated bands around... no hyperbole intended. I've heard that Dave is now sober which is actually a bit shocking. If you've seen these guys live, they are incredible, but Dave has been known to get after it a bit.... At any rate, look forward to diving into this release. edit: - these guys SHOULD open for Wilco.
