No, I love Aprihop. I rarely like fruit beers but I do like Aprihop. This is some sort of peach beer and it's horrendous. Almost taste like a bad cider. edit: Festina Peche ND: Left Hand Sawtooth Ale.

I've been there a couple of times and it seemed decent. They used to have one of the more gorgeous bartenders in the city... not sure if she's still there.

I think this one would raise the bar for all Cahtzee's peers.

I'll 3rd the sentiment that you get what you pay for with DogFish Head. However, I'd definitely recommend their flagship beers over some of their batch offerings. The latest was a 4 pack of peach beer (i forget the name) that is absolute horseshit. I now have 3 that I'd feel guilty about throwing away based on what I paid for 'em.

If we can base your fandom on your number of posts in this thread, you must be a huge fan.

I'm going to post just to break up some of your posts, wilcohead. Love the new album.

Also, just found this on the "web":

Way to go out on a limb Nike! YAAYYY NIKE!!

DBT has to be one of the best live acts in the business. I'll miss Jason in the lineup but Patterson is great live. The triple guitar onslaught is really worth seeing. I'm guessing you are going, Flick? If so, report back what you thought.

Dog figting is barbaric. Now, I have been involved with gambling on goat fighting for years and the action and intensity is unmatchable. If anyone is interested, PM me.

I wouldn't want to trouble you. I agree though, I'm a fan out of drinking certain beers out of a can. I'm generally a bit of a beer snob but I'll be damned if I don't love Coors light in a can. Heinekin is another one that I won't even touch in a bottle. At any rate, I see that Dale's is available in Wisconsin. We make the occasional summer trip up there. I may try and grab some this weekend. If not, I'll PM you.

I hope that Red Lobster brought you guys all of the birthday joy that you deserve. Your Tall, Hat-wearing, suburban friend, Brian

That's supposed to be one of the best beers available in a can. Unfortunately, you can't seem to get it in Chicago.

The Replacements: All Over But the Shouting: An Oral History
myboyblue replied to Analogman's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Despite the fact that rock bios aren't my cup of tea, I will likely be devouring this one. The Replacements have to be one of the most underrated bands in the history of bands. -
Do they let you take pictures in the HOF or were these stealth pics? Most museums, HOF, etc. won't let you take pictures. At any rate, great pics.

His new album is great. One of his quotes, and this isn't verbatim, centers around how his songs are well written but not well done. Artists love to cover a great song that has never been done well. Thanks for posting the tour dates. I'm going to try and catch him this time around.

It's a great album. If there is any justice in the world, and there appears to be little, this will do very well. Buy it bitches.

Nice work....congratulations! I'm sure that you can more than make up for the lack of pre-birth Wilco shows in the near future to keep her on the right track.

ok, Volkswagen earns revenue based on the number of automobile sales. They purchased the rights to use Wilco songs in an effort to gain "credibility" with slews of Wilco fans and others that enjoy "hip" music.
-
You do know that Volkswagen doesn't make any money off sales of SBS, correct? Oh, and I like "Either Way". In fact, many people do so the point of this thread is much in question. I think it is making the assumption that the majority would agree with you?

You have heard that Al Gore uses about 20 times the amount of electricity that most American families use, right? I'm not sure how Udub would "hate" him for bringing a universally good message to the public but he's not a "green angel". Regardless of his motives, and some of that may revolve around him truly trying to help the environment, it's a good message.
