Donna, I think I may have left my hot pink sequined hoodie at your place. Can I come by and pick it up and take you out for brunch?

It was complicated. Too many days of skiing and feeling the need to get home. It's beers and a tasty webcast tonight at home instead.

Hi. My new computer sounds GREAT!

I have the opportunity to see Further tonight and I'm feeling very lukewarm about it. Not a good sign. Should I go? Lots of good friends are going, but after seeing the Dead in April, I don't know. It just wasn't that good.

from the Lefsetz letter: "The lights turned on and the curtain fell down..." The first Crosby, Stills & Nash album was such a phenomenon, entered the consciousness of listeners to such a degree, that there was a huge hunger for more. And there was more. An album entitled "Retrospective", the greatest hits of Buffalo Springfield. Beloved today, Buffalo Springfield was known at the time for their one infectious, haunting hit, "For What It's Worth". Hell, you've got to love an act that titles a track with words not in the lyrics... And with Stills the star of CSN, people were thrill

If you want to get into Radiohead, here's what worked for me. Put In Rainbows or The Bends on as background for a few rotations. Don't try to listen too hard. Then, when the music starts to sound a little familiar, turn it up to 11

I saw Loudon a couple months ago at the Infinity Music Hall in Norfolk, CT and he was great. He seemed a little put off that the place was only half full(and this place is tiny), but by the end of the night he was gregarious and having a lot of fun. After, he had a glass of wine and mingled.

Your daughter's 1st grade teacher stops you in the hall at school and asks if there is a presale password. -
Even though its only from the front porch to the running limovan, that's one hell of a walk of shame.

My husband is on line now buying presale tix for March in NY. The cheapest ones are over $150. Thank you, wilco, for making it affordable.

Oddly, when my husband put in his credit card info, the site took a while to process. Then a notice came up saying he timed out and to try again. He started on a business call, tasked me with getting tickets, which I was able to do. Then, he got an email saying he got 4! that is some weird, effed up business.

I think so too, but my computer wasn't showing a second page at the time. Then when I went through and reread my post, I look like a tool. -

This has been covered here before, but I think it's safe to say that lots of people like lots of different kinds of music. I don't have to match my tastes to anyone's exactly. Even my husband and I disagree sometimes (gasp!), and I still like him alot. There's a whole world of music, you only need to listen to what YOU like.

Anyone with a quick link to upload that? Loving Cup is one of my favorite songs ever, although I know they've covered that before, the whole album is exemplary.

I saw the decorator from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy coming out of the bathroom at MSG last year.
