I went to one for the first time a couple weeks ago. I bought chocolate muffin mix, some really cute clementines, and olives. It was kind of a weird place though. I used to go to ALDI when I lived in Germany, I don't know if it's related. My mom told me they were owned by Trader Joes.

I saw one today where I think he refers to himself as "Date Mike." Could be a subliminal cross marketing thing going on, I suppose.

I did get my hartford tix, It freaked me out a little because it is a week after Providence, but I'm ok unless they don't come this week as well.

Has anyone received Providence tickets yet?

It was the early 90's at a celebrity ski weekend in Santa Fe. I am now remembering it was Gunner because first my husband asked "Which one are you?" followed by, "Where's your brother?" It was kind of funny, he and his brother waited in the singles lines so they wouldn't have to wait too long in line. They actually weren't bad skiers. Also notable that weekend was that guy from that show and that other guy from the other show.

I once rode up the chair lift with one of the Nelsons. You know, of Nelson. I don't know which one it was. My husband asked him, "Have any new albums coming out?"

Hot Lanta was good, although at that point the sound was not corrected and you could tell the band was feeling around the night, the crowd, the venue. Highlight for me was Black Hearted Woman.

Last night's concert at the United Palace Theater was very good musically. Venue was fine except for the $7 8 oz beers. and I guess if you are a guy the long lines at the bathroom might have sucked. No special guests, the sound was OK, improved later on. Very Loud.

Last year I saw Taj Mahal and Levon Helm opening night. Dan (husband) saw Eric Clapton. We go separate nights for child care reasons. It's an overnight. He goes with the guys and I go with girlfriends. There's no better self esteem boost for 40 something women than an ABB concert. The ratio of men to women must be 10:1.

hmmm. New England clam chowder isn't so bad. A good bacon cheeseburger can be pretty nice, if done well. Not well done. But giving it more thought I'm not sure either of them can hold a candle to cassoulet or crepes

I will sign the petition just out of appreciation of it's awesomeness. And I'm a fan of french food and wine. But not french pop music. That stuff is just AWFUL. So they really need Wilco.
