Yeah, the sheer "first-timed-ness" of Friday made it amazing. But they were both smoking hot. You rock my world. True. Hahaha! The Bear had your back. Did you notice how he had his arm around Baloo for most of the evening after that?! LOL Good friends! I'm telling you, Rob's a lover, not a fighter. I am sooooooooo sad to be back at home in the "real world" for two days until I return on Wednesday, but I'm so happy to be able to hit three of them! I agree--they're just Bon Jovi re-worked. That was great--except for the interruption, yes. I hadn't seen MD & TT since a show at First Ave in the mid-90s. It's still a great schtick.

Yeah, I was trying to Google "GS and Obama" Saturday evening for a write-up, and I found the blog of a guy who must have been blogging by the hour. He started by ripping them ("Perhaps they should be called Golden Smaug? Apparently musicians don't age like, say, fine wine...") and then, after Obama name-dropped Jeff Tweedy, the guy blogged, "Wait, was Jeff Tweedy part of Golden Smog? Maybe I criticized them too quickly."

We should set up a VC tent.
