Yeah, a lot of Kraig's songs were a "miss" for me, even though I loved what he brought to the band in general. And He's A Dick is a keeper.

Glad you're enjoying GS. Smokestack is right: they were an excellent band to see live. One of the best rock and roll shows I've been to was GS at First Ave in the late 90s. The energy on stage and in the venue was unbelievable.

That reminds me of when The Wilco III played a small Obama-related event in Madison a couple of years ago, and one of the organizers saw me (and Virtualreason) walking out with a setlist. She said, "What are you doing? You can't have that. The band keeps those." Ummmm.... I don't think so. And settle the hell down.

I had a blast at the Electric Factory last night! I consummated my relationship with several Wilco songs in Philly: You & I, That's Not The Issue, Laminated Cat (full band), and In The Street. (I also hadn't seen/heard I Must Be High or Outtamind/Outtsite live since 1998, so it was essentially secondary virginity for those two.) I was blown away by how hard Dreamer In My Dreams rocked. I hope that becomes a regular part of the setlist rotation because it was a blast. What a great way to start that rocking encore! It's hard to choose highlights because it was so much fun all around.

There seems to be something subconscious going on here with Hummingbird... Don't gloat, it makes you seem mannish. (Wait, that doesn't really work here...) C'mon, Philly! C'MON!!

(I'd also take the Summerteeth Rock Block, I'm A Wheel as a closer, and What's the World Got In Store, but frankly I'll be happy to be there for whatever the night brings.) Whaaaaaaaaack?! Awww, this setlist is outstanding! I haven't heard "I'm Always In Love" nearly often enough live and the same goes for "Candyfloss." CANDYFLOSS! *sigh* What a great Summerteeth-heavy list. Word on the street is that the rainbow SG also made an appearance, which makes sense as I think I've only seen it used on Casino Queen. This has to be the most varied list of the tour so far. Way to go Montclair, Night 2!

The perfect night for you to join the tour. Would you have even dared hope for MLTM? What a beautiful selection of songs for that acoustic set. These seem like the ultimate shows: the setlists stretch throughout their catalog, and right in the middle of it all is a gorgeous stripped down set that holds a few surprises for each night. I can't wait. Now, any signs of the rainbow SG?

I don't think that's true. Once the venue's commitment to the policy is established, such as people being booted in Clearwater, everyone else's behaviors will probably fall into line rather quickly. Maybe there will be 30 minutes or so that will be awkward, but in the context of a three hour show, those seem like minutes well spent. Not only that, but it will interfere with my concert experience far less than having to watch Jeff Tweedy stare down multiple douchebags who are holding up their cameras and phones until they notice.
