yeah, it doesn't generate any error in the server logs either, so as long as it goes away by the final release i won't worry just happy that things seem to have settled down since upgrading PHP & Apache last night.

yes, it doesn't work well on IE6 at all anyone running IE6 at home is just asking for trouble honestly, in terms of spyware, viruses, etc., as well as browser compatibility issues (it's one of the worst browsers ever in terms of HTML compliance) if you're stuck using IE6 at work, see if you can use Firefox at least, if you can't upgrade to IE8 IE6 is nearing 8 years old now... http://www.stopie6.org/

minus the bugs that IPB needs to fix, i think i MIGHT have tamed the beast that is our new server a little bit tonight (*crosses fingers*) if it's still responding in the morning i'll be a happy man.

unfortunately that's all up to IPB to fix with Release Candidate 2 (RC2) topic/forum markers are no longer cookie based according to them, so why it's not working atm under RC1 when they seem to claim it should, is beyond me. if it's not working once i upgrade to RC2, then we'll have a problem.

so far i still like Beyond more, but it's killer (both are)

until i figure out what's killing the CPU i def have to turn "performance mode" on (which i realize disables PM, profiles, searching, etc.), hopefully it'll just be over the weekend and I can address it on Sunday evening/Monday. we were up 11 hours straight with it yesterday, then i turned it back off before bed last night at 2:30 and woke up this morning at 8 to the server locked up with loads over 200x it's normal usage

yeah, we ran into trouble with it automatically charging people at the year mark

similiar... it was tied in with IPB's old subscription feature, which turned out to be a huge pain when subscriptions expired, etc.

they have 2 people that sing lead from time to time actually, Ed Droste & Daniel Rossen. I much prefer Ed's vocals to Daniel's, but I do enjoy both. their albums define the word grower for sure though imo.

looks like if you keep it a personal account it costs more to do credit card transactions, so probably not worth it i suppose. i've seen something like that, i'll investigate thanks!
