I'm kind of partial to live music when I am driving. I've been listening to The Black Crowes - "Freak and Roll into the Fog" lately.

You know the first time I watched Anchorman I didn't think it was that good, but I ended up watching it later on and it started to grow on me. Now I think it is hilarious.

It is official, Lloyd Carr deserves to lose his job regardless of whether or not they beat OSU next week. By not having Hart play and Henne only playing the 1st quarter he showed the team that he didn't care if they won the game or not so why should they.

51, The whole Marley kids one got me. The sad thing was that the Segal-Tupac question I guessed on except for one and I got em all right. Better to be lucky than good.

Well at least she has good taste. -
Grant Lee Buffalo - They would have to re-unite Moist - They would also have to re-unite Tilt - They would have to re-unite, there seems to be a pattern here. Wilco Green Day - I know I'll probably catch flack for this but I took my stepson to see them last year on their American Idiot tour and they actually put on a pretty good show.

In the movie Wedding Crashers, wasn't Vince Vaughn's fake name at the Indian wedding Chuck Vindaloo?

A Boston Priest Is Charged With Stalking Conan O'Brien
the_fliz1 replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
It's that fucking red hair, it is like a magnate for Irish priests. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that O'Brien kind of looks like a 12 year old boy either. -

anyone know anything about audio recievers
the_fliz1 replied to jc4prez's topic in Someone Else's Song
It could be a heat issue. Does it start out ok and then start progressively getting worse or does it do it from the moment it is turned on? There are numerous internal components that if they went out could cause this problem. -
I never knew that Wilco covered Daniel Johnston. I recently started getting into some of his stuff after watching "The Devil and Daniel Johnston". Great documentary if anybody ever gets a chance to watch it.

Good Job.

I am a Tigers fan and either watched or listened to about 98% of Detroit's games last year. There is absolutely no wayvthat Pudge deserves the Gold Glove. I will admit that his percentage for throwing out runners had a lot to do with the young pitching staff, but he had way too many passed balls, wild pitches that should have been passed balls, and his throws to second were horrible most of the time. Pudge got it on reputation alone. I am glad to see that Polanco got it for 2nd. He definitely deserved it. Personally I think that Curtis Granderson should have gotten it over Seizmore. Seizmore w

I had them once but I took some Pepto and I was fine after that.

Things I think are wrong with this country
the_fliz1 replied to bjorn_skurj's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I work nights, and the morning after Halloween I came home to find my front porch covered, not with the orange lights and pumpkins that were there before I left for work, but with Christmas lights and snowmen. Apparently the second she brought the kids back from trick-or -treating my wife busted out the Christmas decorations. My wife so needs help. -
I'm actually surprised that no one talks about Grant Lee Phillips. I know that nobody I know has any clue who he is. I guess it is just my weird little mind thinking again that just because I really like somebody that everyone else should too.

Effigy - Uncle Tupelo. It was the first time I ever heard UT. It was on the No Alternative soundtrack. Sexual Healing - Soul Asylum. Off the same No Alternative album. Mammy Blue - Roger Whitaker - Thanks to A-Man I recently rediscovered this song. Where Did You Sleep Last Night - Nirvana. It is just classic. AFI - Just Like Heaven. Not a big AFI fan but they did it on the Cures MTV Icon tribute and it was really good. All Along the Watchtower - Jimi. After Jimi did it, Dylan started playing it Hendrix's way. Enough said. Mr Tambourine Man - Byrds. I just recently found out that this was a Dyl

You know I originally came to that conclusion also, but the one thing that kind of steers me away from it is the fact that she absolutely hates beards. Almost every time she sees Jeff she mentions that his beard annoys the hell out of her. She even kind of freaked out when she noticed that John had stubble going on ACL. It took a long time of me having a goatee before she would stop complaining. Of course she didn't mention whether or not he still had a beard

Exactly. I can't remember where I heard it but I heard someone say that in a band with one guitar, the guitarist has 2 jobs essentially. Playing the normal guitar plus they have to try and keep up the rhythm parts also. Dude, you already have half the battle won. I can't tell you how many times I wished I had started out playing on an acoustic guitar. Starting out on an electric can make you lazy. I know it did me. A lot of times with all of the volume and effects it can have the tendency to hide the mistakes that a player can make, and when you are learning to play that is not a good

Oh my god. I looked on that list and saw a name I haven't heard in years. Roger Whittaker. I remember my mom giving me this disc when I was like 5. It wasn't a real record. It was like this flimsy little recored type thing. I want to say it was square also. It was Roger Whittaker's version of Mammy Blue. I can't even begin to think of how many times I listened to that. I played it on this little plastic Fisher Price type record player. Wow does that take me back
