Still glowing from this fest and finally got on here to comment on one of the funnest weekends ever, A Weekend with Wilco = (shiny) Happy People. Proud to be part of such an amazing community of folks. Can't wait to "stand" in the place that we were...next year...hopefully.

Concert At The Cove 2010

No problem, at least you warned us beforehand. Our field trip to the market helped pass the time, as well as the soundcheck, albeit through metal doors. But it was pretty splendid! What a show for us to end on. That is the closest to a rave I will ever get, and a Wilco one at that. And I got to see the whisk again - for Poor Places. It is fun at the GA shows to be close and see some things you wouldn't normally see back in the seats. And as the comments continue about the chatters, I will add that it is hard to believe folks can carry on conversations while Wilco is performing Sunk

We need the disco ball from Lupos for this number!

Just wanted to post a request here for some good vibes for Greg. This past weekend was to be a fun weekend for us to get together in Athens Ga. for the DBT run at the 40 Watt. Turned out to be not so fun as Greg was taken to the hospital for chest pains and suffered a heart attack. We left town yesterday where Greg still remains in the hospital for upcoming procedures, but is doing better. Please send your thoughts and prayers his way for a speedy recovery.

We caught the show here in DC. Definitely worth the price of admission. Kind of dissapointed to not get Monster, but maybe it was due to the lack of band members present. Anyway, it turned out to be a pretty late night with the Fruit Bats going on around 11:30, but totally worth the wait. Loved hearing their new stuff. And they broke out an awesome cover of INXS's Never Tear Us Apart. The guys even came out to sell their own merch.

Yes, excellent show last night. Got on the DBT wagon late as well, but enjoyed hearing some older stuff. Nice mix on the set for sure. Goddamn Lonely Love was a highlight for me. And Never Gonna Change with the transition into Spiders was awesome! The Bridge opened and thought they were good as well.
