I want to say I saw Wilco before The Guinness Fleadh at the Arlington Raceway in summer 1998, at First Ave, right around when Being There came out, but I can't piece it together... But, if that Guinness Fleadh WAS the first time I saw Wilco, then it was one awesome concert day for a lot of wonderful LIVE firsts for me: X Los Lobos Wilco Richard Thompson Squeeze Capped off by Shane Macgowan (who I had seen before, but it was a great way to end my top festival) have seen Wilco maybe 5-6 times since then in Mpls, Duluth, Rochester, and Milwaukee.

Wilco in Judd Apatow's 'Funny People' Trailer
Winston Legthigh replied to sleapman's topic in Just A Fan
Nice. That, or Battle of Evermore, plus Ramble On over the end credits. Seriously though I hate the movies, both for their lack of Zeppelin, and for their rape of the written word. And by rape, I mean anally, with no lube, entry prepped with a hairdryer, and performed with a sand-covered cock. -
Wilco in Judd Apatow's 'Funny People' Trailer

I'm always interesting in reading about new folds to the "real fan" experience, how cool things can get ruined by the perceived identity of the new fanbase, and how any so-called Lord of the Rings "fan" can enjoy the movies, when clearly Jackson should have thrown Robert Plant a fucking bone by playing Misty Mountain Hop over the end credits of Fellowship. -
So he's getting work as a Cost Cutters model now? He needs a soccer van and some mom jeans to go with his do.

I just knew he was hurt. There's no way that a guy with his talent and historical point production gets shut out like he did in the late playoffs. But I had assumed it was a lower body injury - because when he was getting hit, he was getting hit HARD, which suggested that his lateral movement was limited - he wasn't sidestepping any checks.

"presumably written at the end of his life" (referring to Guthrie). I guess one can presume, or do some minimal research by checking wikipedia to see that it was written in 1944, a good 23 years before Guthrie passed. That's some crack journalism there.

I wish that they'd just bring back the Canada Cup instead of having the pros go to the Olympics, but it looks like this is the last time they'll do so. They should just do what soccer does - allow a max of three ringers over the age of 25 on a team. The pros already have their glorious Stanley Cup - leave the medals to the hard working amateurs.

OK, I've thought about this one, and I think I can write it in a way that will produce the answer I have in mind! The Beatles have 5 songs that start with either "She" or "She's." Name them.

Shit - I suck as a trivia question writer... Was looking for Heartbreaker! (but the Stones fuck it all up by putting it in parentheses and preceding it with Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo.)
-
Looking for a shared word in a song title. Clue: Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pat Benatar.

Here are the original paintings - name the 1980s albums that spoofed/recreated them.

Hard Day's Night.

He can advance when he answers both questions! Yes - Help. I'm still looking for the first album with all originals.
-
I'm assuming you're referring to Maggie Mae? I was going for a COMPLETE cover, not a partial outtake.
-
First Beatles album to feature all originals? Last Beatles album to feature a cover? (UK releases)

What? no mention of Mary on Joe's Garage?? I've got a present for You-ooo! The only reason I knew the F&E answer was because I just happened to read it the other day when looking up the Turtles on wiki. OK - here's an easy one: Sang on Paradise by the Dashboard light, inspiration for Should I Stay or Should I Go?, and acted on Night Court.
