  1. Yeah I dont think they really do much to enforce the policies. Perhaps they had a problem with dime in the past. At the end of the day it comes down to PJ wanting people to buy the SBDs-which is a change from their early ways and due to the proliferation of the torrent sites and other means of digital distribution me thinks
  2. Yes. Eddie has said that he approves of people doing what he used to do-taking a crappy hand held cassette recorder into a show to have a personal recording of the show. The band does not approve of people recording shows for digital distribution via the internet. At least thats my take on it. In addition, Stone has said that the band doesnt like when people digitally distribute AUD recordings because many of them are not very good. Auds can be found pretty easily and I dont think the band does much to take them down.
  3. I have some EV shows (27 of them from 08-09) PM me and let me know what show you are looking for-I wont upload them, but would be happy to do a BnP. they are all AUD recordings and some are much better than others-NJPAC is a good one. While there has been no confirmation from EV or the 10c, my feeling is that the studio/production company (and possibly EV if he is getting royalties) wont allow recordings or videos of the soundtrack material as long as the soundtrack is publicly available for sale-PJ takes this position with its shows as well-if they are available for sale, then trading/uploa
  4. I saw three shows, two in montclair and one in hartford hartford wins because the sound was so much better really hoping there are some more east coast dates this summer
  5. not all of those people in attendance care about the music as much as you might for some, it may be an excuse to get together with friends talking to that friend may be more important than listening to the music just saying-people go to shows for different reasons
  6. Thanks for the recording despite the chatty people, its great to hear the songs again THANKS!
  7. thanks for that link tell the guy to STFU hahahahahahaha
  8. is it a no no to post the link to a bootleg on mega?
  9. fall 91 was a good tour the Boston garden shows are fantastic
  10. I loved this tour-just awesome. Hope they do it again, but Im not expecting that they will.
  11. I loved this show it was all there great venue great sound great show by far my favorite of the three I saw
  12. another great wilco show I liked night two better just a lil bit better flow and Stan the man improved the sound looking forward to that reserved seat in Hartford
  13. it was muddy everywhere my only complaint about the show-they clearly need a better PA
  14. terrific show they certainly delivered cant wait to see whats in store for tonight!
  15. I have to say, I was very surprised how good they sound. Stu does sound like Garcia and his playing is great-without being too much of an imitator. Wish I had gone sooner, but I will definitely go again. It was so low key and fun. Kinda like how ratdog shows used to be.
  16. on another note I went to see the JGB on saturday night with Stu Allen on guitar I wasnt expecting that much, but it was a lot of fun. Melvin and the girls sound great and the venues are small and low key. Good time.
  17. Thanks! Perfect, just perfect!
  18. Is there an opening act on this "evening" tour? (NJ and CT shows) thanks
  19. Eddie has said that the increase in ticket prices was partially due to piracy (of course he was much more long winded about it). MSG 10c tix were $173 a pair Hartford 10c tix were $150 a pair. Not cheap, but not overly expensive for major arena acts. Kind of a middle price point. And no question, concerts are the major source of revenue for most acts these days. Anyway, I am really looking forward to the hartford show. 10/30 in Philly will be tough to beat. That show was phenomenal.
  20. I guess he was more in the background for the shows I saw, I was totally indifferent to him and his playing. Still am.
  21. Vine was good. He stayed under the radar for the most part and just played the tunes.
  22. I thought it was pretty good. I will take whats left of the who over some american idol, R&B, pop-sugar, watered down rap, countrified, over choreographed BS any day.
  23. check out this three year old playing name that tune anyway hopefully we sill hear some tour news this month
