  1. I''m really digging it. It's kind of a happy medium between her earlier acoustic-y/singer-songwriter stuff and Out in the Storm. I couldn't get into her earlier albums, but I loved the 90s alt rock vibe of Out in the Storm. St. Cloud has a folky/alt. country vibe. It's a beautiful album to enjoy during this surreal time. I'll probably be picking it up, too.
  2. I can't wait for the box set. I keep falling asleep and missing it, so I'll have a lot to catch up on.
  3. Cancer. Damn. He was a great drummer. I believe he also played some with the Minus 5 and Filthy Friends. I read that his wife died of cancer last year also. Very sad.
  4. I'm on! I joined in time to watch last night's fun and was not disappointed.
  5. I'm late on everything. I still don't have an Instagram account. Facebook is my only foray into social media to date.
  6. Hope everyone is staying healthy and that chuckrh will soon be on the mend (and that his test turned out negative). These are surreal times for sure. There's no roadmap for it, at least not in the U.S. Hopefully we'll get through this together and come out on the other side a better country that's more prepared for such an event.
  7. i'm guessing the shows throughout the South next month will be postponed also. So bummed though I totally get it. It's pretty much perfect outside right now where I am. By the time things return to relative normalcy down here it'll be hot as balls outside.
  8. Orchestra Section 1, Row H, Seat 13. It's a seat on the aisle. I'm asking for what I paid: $74.15. I can transfer the ticket electronically or I can mail it (whatever is preferred). I have a graphic of the seat's location, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't attach or paste it.
  9. I loved Oasis in the mid-1990s, especially after the first two albums as has been mentioned. Unfortunately I never saw them live. I was living in London for a semester in 1995 when they were taking off.
  10. Pat Sansone was recently the guest on the Mississippi Arts Hour show on Mississippi Public Broadcasting. It's a great interview that delves into Pat's years in Meridian and Hattiesburg, Mississippi; his father (renown concert promoter Tony Sansone); how he came to be in Wilco; and a few of his other projects such as the Autumn Defense and his photography. I shared it earlier this week with the fan group on Facebook but forgot to post it here. http://msartshour.mpbonline.org/episodes/the-mississippi-arts-hour-patrick-sansone
  11. There is a very significant problem in our society that is the natural consequence of encouraging and even glorifying narcissists and sociopaths. I don't have any solutions, but it's clear that very toxic people are running the show.
  12. I had a first row seat for Mobile, but Ticketmaster had to be Ticketmaster. I ended up in the second tier of seats on the floor. My luck for Jackson wasn't much better. Oh, well. At least I'll be there. And I'll see old friends in all three cities.
  13. Memphis, Jackson & Mobile, oh my!
  14. Bottle Rockets with Robbie Fulks (second night in a row - I forgot to post yesterday).
  15. Saw Little Women today. I'm convinced that I'll love everything that Greta Gerwig makes. I thought I'd be bored to tears but very much enjoyed it. Love that film. Definitely one of my favorites of last year.
  16. Regrettably I've still never seen them live.
