  1. Thanks for the passwords. I decided to be fiscally responsible, so I'm gonna sit it out. I have upcoming auto repair bill that's going to run about $700. Plus it's right before Christmas, and I'm sure I'll have family obligations and other plans that will conflict. I'd love to be there, but sitting it out is the right thing to do.
  2. Yep. And Cavan Biggio (Craig's kid) hit for the cycle last night, making the Biggios only the second father-son duo to accomplish that feat.
  3. Dammit. More temptation. I'd just about talked myself out of it. Seriously, thanks for the heads-up. Decisions...
  4. I forgot about today's presale. Guess if I go I'll have to wait til Fridays general on-sale and take whatever I can get. Maybe it's a sign that I need to save my money instead.
  5. And my Braves just lost Charlie Culberson and Johan Camargo for the rest of the season. They were important contributors off the bench. Bummer.
  6. This Braves fan is very happy with the season so far. Not sure if they can get past the Dodgers, but I'd say they're ahead of schedule in terms of their rebuild. Alex Anthopoulos should be a strong contender for exec of the year. He's done a masterful job at adding pieces to the organization's young core of talent. I was the team's biggest critic in April, but I'm happy to be eating crow on an almost nightly basis these days.
  7. Wish I could get the socks without having to buy a bundle. I'll probably buy the box set because R.E.M. Monster was also the first tour I saw in person.
  8. Saw it yesterday and loved it. My favorite Tarantino movie since Pulp Fiction. I couldn't believe how many times I laughed throughout the movie. I haven't seen many films this year, but it's by far my favorite so far.
  9. So there's this on Facebook and presumably Twitter: https://www.facebook.com/wilcohq/videos/1097115997164712/
  10. NOLA. I had tickets to the Friday night screening, but Tropical Storm Barry got in the way.
  11. I binge-watched season three of Stranger Things this weekend, and I just returned home from watching "The Cure: Anniversary."
  12. I just got home from watching it. The film does a great job of remind those of us who have seen them live that they're incredible. And it should be the impetus for those who haven't to do something about that in the future.
  13. It was my first, but it won't be my last. I don't know what I was expecting, but I think I had sensory load (in a good way). I spent most of the time awestruck, especially after meeting Courtney Barnett and Pat Sansone and being on the rail for the Minus 5. The house, the people in the house, the music, the food, and the scenery were all incredible. My only regrets are not having more time to explore Mass MoCA and the Berkshires and not getting to know my housemates better and see old friends from prior shared Wilco experiences. I'm ready for 2021!
