Hasn't come anywhere close to me yet... so no, I haven't.

Last night's episode was insane. The season has meandered around a little, but these past 3 episodes have been absolutely fantastic. Two more to go & I have no clue how Walt is going to get out of the mess he's made.

As trivial as it sounds, I think there need to be more than 2 "pickup!" screams at the end. In my mind the character of that song is completely freaking out at that point and he should be in full-on panic mode - at least 3, maybe 5 screams of increasing intensity. Aside from that, I like the song a lot. Probably my favorite on W(TA).

It's a great album that I enjoy immensely, but I'm not ready to call it a masterpiece or even their best album yet. Maybe I will one day, but not right now.

I had that problem also (I use an adblocker for FF) and despite disabling it, still couldn't get the stream to play. Chrome to the rescue!

wow. I'm half-inclined to dig up Mr. Gill's review of W(TA). Even among people who like it more than I, I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to it as a "landmark." Unless he's being sarcastic and I'm being almost-drunk.

The bottom one is pretty much what I'd expect from a No Depression blogger (i.e. "I can't believe this is the same band that made A.M." -- psst, it isn't!) The top guy gets it. He probably should blog elsewhere.

I find it interesting how much better the version of Born Alone was during the webcast compared to the one they played on the show. Just shows how tough it's gotta be to go out and perform "cold" for one song only.

I've been looking since he mentioned that it was on its way & nothing so far -- there's probably a lag between torrents available for download & being accessible via search. That's why I was hoping for a direct link (yes, I can be an impatient SOB at times! )

One Sunday Morning is clearly #1 for me. #2 fluctuates daily -- currently it's Born Alone.

Yeah, it does sound rehab-ish, perhaps even breakdown-ish. Hate to speculate, but this comment on that blog has me a little puzzled: Seems like he's in recovery of some sort (but physically ok, since he's working on a farm) and hiding / being protected from the outside world.

Just FYI - these extra tracks are on the deluxe CD only (at least as far as I know). the 1 bonus track on the vinyl hasn't been leaked yet (again, afaik).

It's a wonderful multi-purpose acronym -- "Google is your friend" is valid... as is "get it yourself, f*cker!" (this coming from someone who was once scarred ages ago when he received his first RTFM response to a tech question and had to look that one up.)
