It was my favorite on the first listen. Reminded me of Honey Pie from the White album and Walken from SBS.

Those are two of my all time favorite Wilco songs either live or studio version. They can play them all the time as far as I'm concerned...

Thanks, ditto on the PM.

Thanks. This version is so much brighter and louder than the mp3 version I converted from Youtube. You can actually hear more sounds and instruments much like I Might which I was able to download for free from Amazon a few weeks ago. I've put a running order of the album together from various downloads on my iPod and the versions of these two songs in the mix demonstrate what we are in store for when this CD finally comes out.

Are we ever going to get a Wilco Archive box set released with unreleased material, outtakes, alternate versions and videos?

I was talking about skipping shows as a joke...

I agree. Maybe we should skip a few...

Talking with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy: the full Q&A
Sparky speaks replied to Albert Tatlock's topic in Just A Fan
Actually, one of the better interviews with Jeff IMO. Thanks -
Now all you'll need is an elevator...

If I was only allowed to put 10 Wilco songs on my iPod to listen to I would pick these in no particular order of preference only because I enjoy listening to them not necessarily because I think they are the best composed or produced or even what I might consider Wilco's best songs if you know what I mean. They are songs I find uplifting, catchy and just fun to listen to. I just find myself always picking these songs first when I put a playlist together for someone who hasn't heard Wilco before and they always ask for more: Red Eyed and Blue / IGot You One Wing Hummingbird Monday Shouldn't

My first impression of Sunloathe was it could have been recorded by John Lennon for his Mind Games or Walls and Bridges albums. Open Up Your Mind could fit right in on Dylan's Nashville Skyline album or something The Band might have done in their prime. Capitol City has a Dr. John vibe to it. Probably my favorite. Standing O's initial few seconds reminds me of the Beady Eye tune Standing at the Edge of the Noise. Just the intro, however. Whole Love much better than the live version from Solid Sound. Also very Beatlesque. Could be a Threatles outtake from the Anthology CDs. My least favorite

Boiler Room: The Red Sox' wild ride at the deadline to sign draftees ALEX SPEIER Five years from now, it may prove the case that 10 minutes of utter chaos were responsible for determining the future shape of the Red Sox. This year’s August 15 deadline to sign draft picks – or, more specifically, the deadline at 59 seconds past midnight on August 16 – featured a pressurized atmosphere akin to a boiler room. That was true for a number of clubs throughout the game, and it was most certainly the case for a Red Sox team that went down to the wire on six different negotiations with potential

Youk, you've got what I need....

Just like Ron Paul, Wilco gets no love from the American corporate controlled mainstream media.

Here are five I've recently received in emails from friends that I think are pretty good... Joke #1 Two women were sitting next to each other at a bar. After a while, one looks at the other and says, 'I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland .' The other woman responds proudly, 'Yes, I sure am!' The first one says, 'So am I! And where about in Ireland are ya from?' The other woman answers, 'I'm from Dublin , I am.' The first one responds, 'So, am I!! And what street did you live on in Dublin ?' The other woman says, 'A lovely little area. It was in
