I certainly don't mind her politics, I'm probably to the left of her on most things. I don't dislike her or her voice, it has just never moved me.

I agree on all counts. I'm just not a fan of her style of singing, completely subjective opinion. Although if it has become tired then there must be many others who agree with me. Wow, Journey made 44 million with a lead singer they picked up off youtube. I always wonder at what point people give up on a band. There are bands that make good money touring without a single original member.

Listening to the Bob Dylan station on Pandora right now. The Levee's gonna break from Modern Times is on. Sounding really good. I was in the mood for the older acoustic stuff but this is doing the trick. Might have to pull that CD out.

Is this a new album coming out? They are on a roll, the last 2 have ranked up their with their better work. Looking forward to hearing it.

The Johnny Cash movie is playing in Boulder at 10am on Saturday. Can't wait.

There is a great Metal band out there called Baroness. I don't know anything about their other CD's but "Red Album" is really good. First metal CD I bought in a long time. It won CD of the year or something in Revolver so I took a shot. It's actually really good. Can't imagine anybody who likes metal not liking it.

I started liking "One Mirror too many" after I saw them do it live. It was actually the highlight of the concert I saw. Sounds very anthemic live.

I might be the minority on this I have no idea but my favorite Wilco albums are YHF, AGIB, and SBS. I think Jeff does just fine as a songwriter without creative conflict. I don't think all songwriters thrive on it.

I give 3 snakes the edge over BYS but I like both. I agree, Southern harmony is a great headphone record. Lots of complicated guitar layers on there.

Finally got a chance to listen (youtube blocked at work). Sounded really good. Nice fingerpicking work, great voice. You got talent for sure.
