Man, one of the best bands around right now. Saw them live last year and it was amazing. They have not put out a bad album yet. Just got this. Love the rawness/lack of overdubbing. Can't even imagine where he would have gone had he lived.

Just got the new one and have not even busted the shrink wrap. Fave is probably Ziggy but I have always had a soft spot for Aladdin Sane. I saw him only once on the much maligned Glass spider tour so would love to get another opportunity, although I didn't think it was that bad. Loved seeing Frampton busting out the Rebel rebel riff.

I apparently don't have the intelligence for Pynchon. Got about 20 pages into Gravity's rainbow and realized I had absolutely no idea what was going on in the slightest.

I never get tired of this one, I really don't.

I liked this as much as the Sugar man movie. Very similar in a way.

The first real "shredder". I'm still trying to learn how to play I'm going home. I remember Alex Bennett saying he was one of the smartest guys he ever interviewed. Who knew? RIP Alvin.

I think I might like it a bit more than Louie. Hooks galore. Not the most confident vocals but some great stuff. Favorite song of the year is New Town Velocity. I'm obsessed with it, the guitar layering is just amazing.

There is some great stuff on this album and as you would expect, amazing guitar. New town velocity is probably the best song I have heard all year. Just some great melodies throughout. Suffers a little bit from Johnny's vocals but they are not bad really.
