Carissa's Wierd - Well this was a disappointing purchase. Pre Band of Horses Ben Bridwell. Not what I expected.

In the land of cotton? Actually I was going for a northbound train in the Colorado rain but that was taken.

I don't know. Too much country and not enough Alt for my taste on this one.

It's funny you mention that one. I was listening at work and thought I heard "Who brought the Mexican" over and over in a robotic voice which I thought odd and perhaps a bit racist. It's at about the 3:28 mark. I'm actually not sure what he is saying there although I think it's "we're up all night again" or something. Maybe it's just me. I'm really liking this. Has a great contemporary 70's vibe whatever the hell that means.

He has yet to disappoint me. This one drops on June 11th. Think I will go for the vinyl like the last 2 I bought. Just read this on his website and thought it was pretty funny:

You get general admission or reserved? If general admission I would recommend getting there early and parking at the very top. There is a great little winding trail that leads right to the front of the stage and you can get good seats. General admission is usually at the front of the stage and if you miss out on those you are stuck way in the back. Although the view is nice, you are pretty far away and the sound is not always great up there. If reserved then it does not really matter. Usually the middle sections are for reserved. I saw Steely there a few years ago and unfortunately it ra

I just remember Sportscenter always giving his results in any race. In first, second, and third, blah, blah blah...And in 32nd place, Dick Trickle.

Wow, $408,000 for this guitar. The Beatles memorabilia is still a good investment. I'm a guitar guy and this one did not jump right out at me as being familiar: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-22586301

I'm actually thinking of driving an hour away to get the free mask that goes with the purchase of the CD. I'm sure they will be gone by the time i can get out of work and get there but it would looks sweet on my band room wall.

That was fantastic, thank you.

The MLB umps are glorious perfection in harmony with the universe compared with the joke that is the NBA ref.

I would have like to see what Hendrix, Miles Davis, Tony Williams, and Macca came up with: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-207_162-57583876/jimi-hendrix-to-paul-mccartney-in-1969-telegram-join-my-super-group/

Have to admit, I would not have realized he was playing Reach out, I'll be there. But I hear it now. Very cool, never saw that one. Maybe he should have played "I'm the man who scrubs you".

It's funny, the whole "Nothing"! being said 50 times is not so powerful now (although I still love it) but the first time I saw them live that just blew me away as well. They opened the show with it and it was just so powerful.

Wow, Mr. Kite sure seems like a surprise. This is a tour I would love to see.
-
That song was so powerful live.

C'mon really? Dancing queen may be the obvious answer but that's because it's the obvious answer!

That's just stupid. You can still find a bunch of these at the local store here.
