that LP cover.... holy shit.

yeah if anyone was complaining about the covers set, they were in the distinct minority. that set ruled. my head almost exploded in the photo pit when they played "Cut Your Hair."

just my theory, but i guess hot button conservative topics like abortion, gun rights, military spending etc trump all, even in the (orange) face of blatant boorishness, racism, sexism and utter descipability. -

what was so disgusting about Hillary's debate performance? I thought she was dignified and actually answered some of the questions. -

well i sucked it up and saw Warpaint last night. though i got in at doors (8) and they didn't take the stage until near 10:30 after one opener, it was worth it. god i love that band. i have some work travel that means no shows for a bit... i have tickets to see Shellac in Maine in two thursdays, but might see them in PVD the following night so i can see Die Antwoord... they have always been on my to shoot list.

i missed that on Monday due to being sick.

glad to hear.

The Sword sounded fine (adn they had a hell of a low end going... i tihnk it was synth-based in addition to the rickenbacker) but they just kinda stood there and had terrible light. Opeth had better light but i was fighting a really sore throat and it was my 3rd night out in a row, so i left early.

if racism becomes a non-issue, i'm ok w/ the lp becoming less relevant. -
i listened to the orange vinyl version of the LP today via headphones... a bit of surface noise in the right channel at times, but nothing outrageous nor constant. didn't see any off-pressing issues either. i'll keep my copy.

i hope you get it squared away, but the festival isn't providing lodging, so i don't see how they could be held responsible for the actions of 3rd parties.
