Print at home wasn't an option for me... Will Call only. Checked for nights 1 and 2. I entered a Boston zip code-- you think that had something to do with it? Are either of you local to IL?- 216 replies

Sucks that the only delivery option was will call. I'm like 75% sure I can make it, but not worth risking all that $$. Boo!- 216 replies

There goes $85. I do kind of hate when live tracks are mixed in with studio stuff. Never flows nicely. That said, I'm still excited for the release.

Too much fun, not enough fun. Can't win.

Definitely not Roadcase quality, but *someone* recorded it:

TWEEDY — 9/26/14, Boston, MA (Berklee Performance Center)
knotgreen posted a topic in After The Show
I didn't jot down the setlist, but what a hilarious show! Definitely some of the funniest Jeff banter that I've ever experienced. Some highlights: 1. My Darling!! Definitely didn't think I'd ever hear this one... Jeff claimed there were 400 or so requests, and the runner up, Jesus Etc, had only 4. The enthusiastic requestor never came forward; Jeff said something like: "Bet you didn't think I'd play it. My playing it was a 'Fuck you!'" 2. A really obnoxious lady in the front row shouted for You and I, and I was sure that Jeff wouldn't humor her but he did, and I can't help but think he beg -
Also seeing Tweedy.

unfortunately, i wasn't. that sounds incredible, though. hope you had a great time.
-
Jeff Tweedy, effortless rock star; Ryan Adams, poser. This is pretty silly.
-
... because jeff tweedy is the epitome of clean cut? i recognize that he might be working a certain look, but i'm not sure how that has anything to do with his songwriting.

Ugh, might not be able to make Sun Kil Moon after all. If you know of anyone who might want a pair of tix in orchestra center, row j, let me know!

NPR recorded the band playing at The Brill Building: http://www.npr.org/event/music/347374290/the-new-pornographers-live-in-concert?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=nprmusic&utm_term=music&utm_content=20140911 Really like the way the new songs sound live except for War on the East Coast. That one just doesn't seem to work.

Black Prairie (4/5 of The Decemberists) tonight in Boston.

I know this is off topic-- but I've got such mixed feelings about Boston Calling. I'd love to see The National tonight, but I hate that festival. The crowd is awkward and the sound and space just don't work. It's a shame because the lineups have been great, and it means that the bands that play the festival don't have any other local shows.

I saw Spencer tweet a picture of this today and figured it was a RSD release, for some reason. Thanks for the heads up! I was able to put one on hold for this weekend.

Came here for Wilco news, stayed for the banter.

it's some pretty vinyl, eh?

he's such a lunatic. lucky he writes incredible songs. as for the new album-- i like it more and more with each listen. can't wait to see him in boston!

A whole bunch of new dates! Including 10/28-29 in NY!

Already enjoying it more than Ashes & Fire, which I like okay. My only wish was that there were a few more acoustic numbers like My Wrecking Ball... edit: DRA must've been listening to a lot of Tom Petty before writing these tunes.
