It was for a photo-op. If you get the book KISS Behind The Mask, you will see all sorts of photos of them in studios, soundchecks, etc. without make-up on. I think they only put it on before shows, and for photo sessions. That is really good book to read - as I have said before. There is a lot detail about how the albums were put together.

They recorded a whole album together that never came out. That is most likely Dylan's first or second home in Woodstock. I do not know which one it is. The kid in the photo is Jakob Dylan (or is it Jesse?).

Oh, I was not busting on you. I think you would like that book.
-
I think there is a line in the book that says about what you said there. You should read that book.

Interesting.

That sounds like a quote from the Robert Shelton book.

I have never heard any of the records, nor would I really want to hear them. I found that info on the Crazy Horse Wikipedia page (of course).

Jimi Hendrix: Sessions: The Complete Studio Recording Sessions, 1963-1970 by John McDermott, Billy Cox, and Eddie Kramer (A good description of all the recording sessions, but the layout makes it sort of hard to read.) Are You Experienced?: The Inside Story Of The Jimi Hendrix Experience by Noel Redding and Carol Appleby (This book reminds me of the Levon Helm book. He goes into detail about how bad he was ripped off.) Jimi Hendrix: The Intimate Story of a Betrayed Musical Legend by Sharon Lawrence (She was a reporter who knew Jimi. I have not read this one yet.) Black Gold: The Lost Ar

That opening reminded me of Stand By Me, and an old SNL skit.

Anvil are on That Metal Show this week.

Anyone have anything they want to trade for a toaster? Does it have slots for hot dogs?

I read somewhere recently that Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland are the two highest paid actors on TV. I bet the cast of The Office is bound to be pretty high on the list.

He cut it because Pam was upset that her veil got ripped. (You can watch it online to see how that happened.)

I got a bit lost when they took off from the church, and then came back, and then what you said. I love this show, and it is the only comedy show I watch. As soon as I saw that painting, I knew NBC would create some sort of merchandise out of it.

I wonder if the very last seen will be followed up on during the rest of the season. That will be funny. I'd say Kevin's deal was one of my favorite parts of the show.

They are pulling out all the stops tonight. It's not 1890 anymore.

This surprises me:

I feel a bit odd going on about KISS in the Wilco area, but anyhow, Anton (along with a lot of other people over the years)played on several KISS albums. I think their cover is alright, Ace brought it to the band, and sings it on the album.

There's a little bit more Elvis in Amazon

Around 1987 or so I use to tape the Dr. Demento radioshow. He had Mojo and Skid on his show one time, and they did a song about Oprah. I don't think I have heard it since. I suppose it is out there somewhere. Elvis Donuts Feeling Existential -
I know what you mean. Not only is she trailer trash, and a redneck, she also likes KISS.

Cool. Kansas Al, I began listening to KISS around 1976, and I am still listening to them today. It bugs me when people post in threads just to dump on certain bands over and over again. But, I should not be too surprised, I use to do it all the time myself. I'd like to hear Wilco cover Hard Luck Woman, or A World Without Heroes.

I have not really watched it. I just watch The Office on Thursday nights, the others shows on that night don't appeal to me all that much.

I guess they have a show on Thursday nights now also. I had not heard a think about it - the show just suddenly seemed to be there.
