I have read that it may be on the Stills boxset that is coming out this year (I think).

I noticed the Wilco comment also. I suppose some of us have seen him at shows, and did not even know it. Grateful Dead Live at AoxomoxoA Outtakes on 1969-12-31 (Archive.org link)

This was posted at Jambands.com this summer. They have redesigned their site, and I just noticed the interview yesterday. I can't recall if it was posted here or not. I did a search around the time period, and did not see it. Anyhow, it is a very informative interview. They even talk about the 1972-08-27 - Veneta, Oregon film again. I think I read somewhere that there may be some sort of anniversary re-issue of the first album, and a tour featuring the songs. I can't recall where I read that though. It may have been in some interview with Steve that I read online. If they do that, maybe they can do something about the sound, like Pearl Jam did with Ten.

We have a thread about it, if you want to post in it: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thread.

I saw this on Expecting Rain today: From The Hank Williams Project: Lucinda Williams - I'm Happy I Found You

That's a good point. I don't ever need to hear Hard To Handle again though. I can't believe they still do that one. I rather like these three songs from the first album: Twice as Hard, Sister Luck, and Seeing Things.

He played with a lot of bands. He was with The Jefferson Airplane for a time also. You can see him playing with them in the Woodstock film.

I think I read somewhere that they may do that with their first album next year. I don't know if I am fan of that sort of thing or not.

Terry Melcher (son of Doris Day) The song Look at Your Game, Girl is on The Spaghetti Incident (Guns 'N' Roses). Also, the song Never Learn Not To Love (a Beach Boys song) was originally a Manson song called Cease To Exist. I have read that the defense attempted to subpoena The Beatles in the Manson trial. There are websites out there kept by those who follow Manson, and I think various tapes he made are out there to be had.

If you have trouble, make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off, as there is a pop-up deal involved in getting the tracks.

I never got into them, but I was watching these videos the other day: Rock And Roll Crazies The Treasure

Speaking of new releases, I just saw this posted on David Gans' Blog:

I actually heard about this the other day. Leftsez was talking about receiving the discs and listening to them. I will have to check that out. I don't know if I need another Tom Petty live cd though.

I think I have seen that on Youtube.

They have played on the Letterman Show quite a few times over the years. I never stay up that late anymore, so I am glad there are places online to catch such things.

You're Welcome It could probably be better written. If someone wants to mess with it, let me know and I will replace it. I copied the instructions and posted them in the BT links thread I made (see below).

Addicted To Vinyl Here is what I just did: 1. Put the DVD disc in the computer CD tray. 2. Wait a little bit for the disc to load. 3. Right click on My Computer, hit open. 4. Right click on the DVD Title (ASHES_OF_AMERICAN_FLAGS), hit open. 5. Then right click on the word extras, hit open. 6. After that, right click on the word extras in that folder, hit open. This will take you to the website. From there you will see: Once you click on the above text at the Website, you will go to this page: Follow the registration instructions you see on that page, and then follow the inst

You have to put the disc in, yes?

I meant that he happened to be watching that video, and noticed the comment. He didn't write the comment. Usually, Youtube comments are not much better than some of the mud that is slung around here, so it is nice to see one that is funny.

Maybe it was a limited time deal, or it is on some other site. I never messed with it, and I don't recall the particulars. Is one of those procedures where you have to have the disc in your player before anything happens?

Some friend of mine sent this to me earlier today: That is funny as hell.

No, not really. She should be in there.

I thought it was just this stuff:

Billboard Article Well, someone is paying attention to all the complaints (sort of). Still no Rush or Deep Purple though.
