  1. I wish I could make it up there next weekend. Lucinda Williams is playing the same stage where Jeff played.
  2. I didn't know that either. I guess Stephen lived in England for a time.
  3. bbop - Do you think he was referring to the Neil Young song Revolution Blues when he talking about ponchos and dune buggies?
  4. At some point I noticed he went over to stage left and wagged his finger at someone. Was it someone filming?
  5. I actually remember that being talked about on here.
  6. No - not even a barrier I don't think. Although - I did not make it all the way up front this time. This was actually my first time seeing Jeff/Wilco since 2006.
  7. I was there. I was about two or three people behind Paul and the dancing girl with the chopsticks in her hair. I recognized a few faces - probably people I saw there 10/11 years ago. I was with a friend of mine who does not know anything about Wilco/Jeff and does not really listen to such music. I think he sort of liked the show though. I was bummed out that I could not say hello to Jeff. The tour bus area was fenced off - years ago it was all very open. I usually don't try to play the that-new-song-sounds-like game. But I have to say that sometimes I was reminded of some of Pete Townshend's
  8. Don't forgot about that Mudcrutch album. I am still hoping they are going to do another one of those.
  9. I know what you mean. I have read that these sound good. And you can hear things that you could not hear before. I see Jimmy is taking a page from the Bruce Springsteen School of Design - no liner notes. There is just a booklet with a bunch of photos stuck in the middle of the cd sleeve. That's a shame. I think How The West Was Won and the BBC Sessions has some of the worst cd art of all times.
  10. I managed to pick up the 2 disc versions a little while ago. I don't if I will get around to listening to them tonight though.
  11. Maybe Pittsburgh Dad will be there.
  12. I meant for theashtraysays to quote me. You should get there early so you can get upfront. You don't want a bunch of Yinzers to get all the good spots.
  13. I believe I am going to make it.
  14. I always have to turn down the volume when she starts that wailing stuff.
  15. I disagree with that statement.
  16. If I recall correctly - Dime a Dozen has some very specific rules about such uploads. Personally, I don't want to mess with such sources. Or should I say - I am not interested in collecting such sources. This may be the longest time period I can think of since there has been a Wilco/Jeff show appear on a BT site. At least a show that we don't already have.
  17. That must be it. That is why it never landed on a BT site.
  18. Maybe it was something that only a few people got. If it was up at at BT site - I missed it.
  19. That's interesting. At db.etree.org someone has a SBD listed. I have never seen that out there either.
  20. There is only one source out there - as far as I know.
  21. That's what I am thinking. We shall see (hear).
  22. It's a also a shame they did not put out another album. There are some great songs on Hittin' The Note.
