  1. Not me. I want to know if there will be any collaborations with Wilco or MMJ. That's the only thing that'll keep me there for his set in MA next month.
  2. Has anyone here recorded the audio stream for Saturday's show? I'd love a copy. I'm hoping they make it a Roadcase show (which I'll happily buy), but in the meantime...
  3. Wow, what an amazing show. The stage/lighting were beautiful and the sound was PERFECT. Excellent set list. I was really hoping they'd do One Sunday Morning given the perfect setting, and sure enough they did - and it was chill-inducing. This has been such a great weekend. We're starting to feel a bit drained (mostly due to the stress of keeping two small children under control), but still looking forward to today. Honestly though, I wish I knew if there is to be a big finale jam tonight during M.M.&W. If not, we'd probably bail a little early.
  4. They're filming some sort of Solid Sound documentary, I believe. To those hoping a recording of last night's show surfaces, I'm sure it will, but I seriously doubt it will be from the band - too many publishing concerns, probably. I have high hopes of a Roadcase recording of tonight's show, though.
  5. As of right now (10:40am), the lot behind Big Y has lots of space available.
  6. Agreed. A very special show. What a great start to the weekend. Band, venue, weather & people all perfect (although I was appalled at how many people left garbage all over the field - I expected better from Wilco fans!). Looking forward to today.
  7. Due to a last minute cancellation, I have one extra 3-day pass. I paid the $99 Early Worm price and would like to get at least close to that. I know it's last minute, but there it is... We're already in North Adams, so I can meet up with any interested parties. PM me. That aside, I hope everyone has a great weekend. I've already met a couple of excellent VC folks!
  8. That's a good idea. I'll be posting a lot of pics on Instagram too. Mine is : http://instagram.com/briansimpson The only exclusive vinyl I've heard about is the Nels/Julian Lage single. I'll be grabbing that for sure.
  9. Thanks! Hopefully you can make the next one.
  10. Yeah, definitely. My daughters are 4 and this will be our first S.S. We're arriving Thursday too, and our plans are pretty much the same as yours. We're staying at the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield.
  11. Cool. I've always wanted to attend one of the Vic shows - or any of his solo shows for that matter. I almost did it this year, but given the airfare/hotel costs I decided to save the money for Solid Sound. Maybe next year.
  12. I just called Mass MoCA. The museum opens at 11am, gates open at 4:30pm. I'm not familiar with the layout, so not sure how they manage that, but there it is.
  13. Those were my thoughts exactly. Thanks, Wilco Me - helpful as ever!
  14. Do any of you know what time the gates open on Friday? I know there's a Story Pirates welcoming thingy at around 4pm, but is entry allowed before that?
  15. Some people are just assholes. The first time I saw Motörhead ('87), some idiot threw a cup at Lemmy. I don't think he even noticed it when it hit his leg. The idiot, however, was immediately beaten to a bloody mess by everyone around him. Security probably saved his life. I guess what I'm saying is I'd like to see more of that. Behavior would change quickly.
  16. I'm so happy she's playing at Solid Sound. Hopefully the new album will be released & available there.
  17. Cool! Me too. Been looking forward to this album since catching a couple of their shows last December.
  18. I know, and it's a shame. I really don't understand why that album got such a bad rap (at least here on VC). There are a lot of great songs on there.
  19. In no particular order: 1. Black adder 2. Father Ted 3. Arrested Development 4. The Young Ones 5. Mr. Show 6. The IT Crowd 7. The Mighty Boosh 8. Kids in The Hall 9. Monty Python's Flying Circus 9.5 Strangers with Candy
  20. Living or dead? Stephen Fry David Attenborough Michael Palin Bill Murray Nels Cline Charlie Brooker If dead is an option, I'll add: Christopher Hitchens George Harrison Graham Chapman Freddie Mercury I've left off a few people whose talent I admire, but are known to be assholes.
  21. Nooo! That sucks! I loved his playing. Gonna go listen to Bowie's "Santa Monica '72".
