The calls for more immigration control that come after a terrorist attack or whatever aren't really related to immigration as we know it. They are the acts of deranged individuals, not organized immigrant groups with clearly defined goals. And politicians using them to criminalize law-abiding immigrants in order to be seen as "doing something" doesn't make the nation any safer.

Don't worry, we're still far more likely to be gunned down by a gun owning American. That's one job these scary immigrants aren't likely to steal, right NRA? The reaction of the GOP to this event has been sheer cowardice. Physical by their voters and political by the elected. From now on, when they start their tough guy "USA! Don't tread on me!" flag waving bullshit, the rest of us are entitled to laugh and remember how they responded when it counted.

I know. That's why I'm hoping for better seats on night 2. If I get them I may skip night 1. Having kids, it's hard to do 3 nights in a row. Also, I'm kinda hoping they announce a second New Haven show - there's a decent scheduling gap between there & Brooklyn.

After throwing back two pairs of "obstructed view" followed by about 20 "no seats available", I finally got 2 for Orchestra row K for Boston. I'm considering myself lucky. So I've got New Haven and Boston. Now to decide on night 2 at the Orpheum.

Nothing. Again. I'm done with this bullshit. Two days in a row I've made arrangements & lost work time/money only to get shut out completely. I'll stick to general on sales from now on.

Today we buried my father-in-law. Dead at 68 of pancreatic cancer. He was a great guy. It was a bad day.

Funny you should say that. As I was waiting in line, a guy with a Premier Concerts laminate noticed my Solid Sound shirt and said there's a good chance Wilco will be playing there in February. I also would have thought it was too small a venue, but it's a great sounding room & probably not a whole lot smaller the The Capitol in Port Chester. Multiple nights, maybe? A guy can dream. Either way, it looks like they're planning an east coast leg for early 2016. By the way, thanks all for your input regarding G.o.t.V.
