  1. Me too. Still. Pitchfork: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsDKDiqib8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m_ZDBrn_kI
  2. I noticed that Tweedy had a different rig set up for this show. Lately he's been touring with that double set up of the same amp and cabinet (don't know the name). At Vibes looks like he had only one setup of those next to a tall Marshall stack.
  3. Well, thanks for clearing that up for me. I won't get fooled again.
  4. What is DLP15? Dick's Picks 15, Englishtown? That is my kind of night! I just need to get me a smoker (for cooking food that is!)
  5. Thanks, I never read that piece! One of my favorite tunes in the entire GD songbook, I'm going to hunt down everyone of those versions.
  6. That Winterland '73 box is just the bomb. Can close my eyes and pick any track on any disc and I'll be sure to have a smile on my face very quickly.
  7. Esquire named Pickled Ginger as one of the 10 best songs of July 2015 (along with Galactic and Isbell). Funny, of all the songs on Star Wars, I wouldn't choose that one as the "best", but I was just glad to see Wilco getting some love. http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/music/g2287/best-songs-july-2015/
  8. Speaking of the Tahoe Tweezer, just watched the 20+ minute Atlanta Tweezer from the other night. They released the official video of it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Hey Shug, did you consider that sweet sweet Here Comes Sunshine>China Cat>Rider from St. Paul? Don't have the date off the top of my head, but the transition from HCS into China Cat is one of the smoothest ever. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I was close up front at Lockn', so my take on many of the crowd's attitude towards Wilco comes from posts on the Lockn' forum and from seeing people leave the front area before their sets. I assumed the Lockn' and Cap Theater shows were all part of the same deal with Shapiro. I caught one of the Cap shows. Encouraging news today, on the Cap Theater FB page they posted a Great photo of all of Tweedy's guitars from Vibes with the question who wants to see Wilco back at the Cap? So, hopeful for a return multi night run in Portchester. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Bosco, sounds similar to what I experienced/observed at Lockn', which draws from a similar audience as Vibes. Only at Lockn' (where Wilco performed not once but twice), Peter Shapiro didn't come on stage and ask if Wilco should come back. They're not back this year, to my great disappointment.
  12. From what I've seen on Twitter, looks like they came out with Star Wars.
  13. That is great. Don't know who Kalle is, but that is excellent. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Anybody seeing a band called Wilco tonight? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I agree, In the Dark is an excellent release, the live performance recording has energy to the playing. In his book, Billy wrote he didn't understand why they didn't record the next one the same way. Don't share your view of Shakedown as an album. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. You have to add Garcia and Ace to that list of studio albums to listen to. And definitely Wake, side 2 of which became my favorite single side of any GD studio release a year or 2 ago when I got the MOFI vinyl. Funny how everyone considered that album "weak" at the time it came out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. The nights I see Phish still rank as among my favorite nights of the year. Still. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Exactly my view. It all starts with Glenn.
  19. A partial answer at least. Not surprised it was some contractual issue, but I'm still wondering what the issue was specifically with W(TA) as distinct from any of their other label releases. I can always listen to Tweedy talk. But I got to the end and wanted to hear about Star Wars. Wish this interview took place a day or 2 later. Did anyone else notice when Tweedy said they were going to play the entire album tonight and it will sound different, the interviewer went right by that? I think he thought Jeff was speaking hypothetically, I don't think he got that Jeff was saying they were
  20. The Loft has its own page on FB. You may be able to find more info there. Or at least pose the question and see if you get a reply post.
  21. Bobby has a long history of ruining songs with his slide. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I don't think this review from Glide Magazine was posted here: http://www.glidemagazine.com/139758/wilco-star-wars-album-review/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
