  1. Yes, and then next year they could have The Comeback Waltz
  2. I think I've read that the colored vinyl's are more likely to sound less than stellar. There's lots of discussions about this (and everything music and audio related over on the Hoffman forum.
  3. I take that back. Listening to Today in Grateful Dead History, Worcester 11/5/85. Lemieux says Walton brought almost the entire team to this show, so this is probably what I was referring to.
  4. From my faded memory, it could have been the '91 run. And I seem to recall that McHale and Chief were in on that outing. Parish would fit right in with all the pot smoking
  5. Thanks. I've been keeping OneNote files year by year.
  6. Thanks, it was good. I was not familiar with their music (I mostly know them from the Day of the Dead box set). My 29 year old son has been very into the band for years but had never seen them. We realized they were playing yesterday morning so we scooped some good seats and went.
  7. Hey Everyone, I have a friend who I finally got to see Wilco last Friday in Boston. Needless to say he resisted and now is a card carrying member. He was particularly surprised and amused by Jeff's banter, especially re: the guys in the front row with their half gallon cans of Bud Light. I've been pulling Jeff Banter out of the individual show reports, but I'm wondering if there's a consolidated collection of Jeff's banter out there? Thanks.
  8. "From a Wilco nerd standpoint, Jeff switched out the guitar he has been using on many of the OTJ songs from the one I call Yankee Doodle Dandy (woodgrain, with patriotic decals) to a black one with an almost graffiti-like design (if I'm not mistaken). Not sure which one he used in Boston," I'm pretty sure he used what you're referring to as the black one with the graffiti like design both nights in Boston. I know I had never seen that guitar before but I wasn't at SS this year so I didn't know if it was new.
  9. It was jawdropping when they started the song. I had friends sitting in various seats all over the place, afterwards I saw that my phone blew up when they played it. Another incredible personal story from last night. Over the last several years I've come to know this guy (he's my daughter's age) that I know from around town who's a big Phish and jam band music fan. We've become friends over the years and see each other at lots of shows. I haven't seen him in a long time given Sharon's illness and passing. He's pretty connected (his dad is a big deal in town). Before the show he asked me for
  10. There's a story here. If anyone here is also in the Shot in the Arm Group on FB, I had posted that my wife of 36 years died this summer from lung cancer. Sharon was my partner in so many musical adventures, but especially in all things Wilco. We had been to all of the first five SS's until 2019 when she was too sick to go. On and On and On was one of her favorite Wilco songs and since it fit the scene so well I had it played at the end of her funeral while everyone stood. I had the lyrics printed for everyone. It was intensely emotional for all there. So I've been requesting the song on the we
  11. Loved the show! The OTJ tunes were intense. Like someone said, very well paced setlist. Every time I see Wilco I come away absolutely marveling at Glenn and tonight was no exception.
  12. I get most of the GD releases and box sets. Ready or Not? I say "not."
  13. Tedeschi Trucks Band. Taking a road trip to the Beacon.
  14. Wrote to Kung Fu and they immediately sent a new email with the download. They always have the best customer service.
  15. Got my vinyl yesterday. Not a "reaction" (yet) but did anyone get the email with the download code today? I haven't.
  16. David Byrne-my turn tonight (after having to miss the two shows I had 5th row center seats for)
