i don't know about affluent, but just about every one of those songs got people on the dance floor in college. i'm a pop music apologist...i think there is always a place for it and it serves an important purpose.

as i've recently gotten back into the occasional purchase of action figures and similar ilk, i always noticed those things were collecting dust on the shelves...never saw one of them move.

i hate to say it, i still have never seen JACKIE brown. i've peeped every other Q.T. flick but that one.

while we're talking about movies based around racial prejudices, etc....i watched 'foxy brown' the other night. taught me one way to deal w/ racism is to cut off the balls of whatever smack-dealing hooker-pimping white-supremist is making you feel slighted. forget about hillary, pam grier for president.
