  1. "Hazlitt Takes to Shore"- Centro-matic
  2. What makes you think you'll get that sort of stuff in a thread entitled "New album news!"???
  3. 2 Girls, 1 Cup, and a Drummer
  4. Screeching Weasel redid the Ramones' first album. Pussy Galore redid Exile on Main Street. The Smithereens redid Meet the Beatles (retitled Meet the Smithereens).

  7. I admit it-- I've shed a tear or two listening to the Traveling Wilburys' "End of the Line." Other emotionally moving songs for me... Traveling Wilburys- "Handle With Care" (the older I get, the more this song means to me) Dylan- "If You See Her, Say Hello," "I Threw It All Away," "Standing in the Doorway" and "Most of the Time" My Morning Jacket- "Lowdown," "By My Car," "Hopefully" and "The Bear" (even though I have no idea what "The Bear" is about) Will Johnson- "Re-Run Pills," "Like a Madman" and "Tent of Total Mystery"
  8. I've been a Bob/GbV fan since '93, but I didn't get around to seeing them in concert until January 2000, in Orlando, so I was super-excited and had unreal expectations. Bob didn't let me down. Best concert of my life. It was the Bob/Doug/Nate/Tim/JimmyMac lineup. That show is famous for being the one that started the douse-Bob-with-beer craze. Next time they came to Orlando, Bob walked onto stage wearing a raincoat and goggles. Funny guy. Nope, didn't make it to the farewell show. My last GbV show was November 2003 in Atlanta. I have yet to see Bob in concert, post-GbV.
