8-20-1995 HORDE tour in Michigan. My friend and I went over to the second stage to watch the band play and Chris and Rich Robinson walked right in front of us to go watch. I was a huge Black Crowes fan and thought, if they are watching, there must be something to this band. I thought they were good enough, but wasn't really hooked at the time. I saw them again in 1999 and then many many times since then.

Jack isn't in enough scenes this season. that's the problem i have.

Pretty solid setlist. She read lyrics when I saw her 3-4 years ago. I think it is part of the gig...

Aren't both festivals multiple days? Couldn't any band play both? Heck Phil Collins played two continents for Live Aid back in the day...

I saw those guys when they came through Chicago last month. I've never seen so much energy on that stage before. Do they sound good on record?

I am glad you all liked superstud. I found it unreadable. I am reading Underworld right now and enjoying it. I know some others on the board have recommended this. I guess I just had a bad time with superstud.

John didn't open for Jeff, but he has come out to play with Jeff for a song or two a couple times. I remember him joining at the Abbey Pub on California Stars once. Mike also joined Jeff on stage twice at the abbey during solo shows. He was on a lap top doing his solitaire thing...

I heard four long clips on lost highways record. Very down beat and depressing.

I can't believe they dropped the bomb in hour 4. I can't believe Curtis is dead. They almost go over the top just to prove they are going to always go over the top. Great great start to the season. This is the first one I've watched on tv. Watched the others on dvd...and what's the deal with the first four episodes already being out today on dvd. Are they going to do that after ever 4 episodes?

Didn't Jay write the music for Secret of the Sea? Jeff has played that a couple time over that last 2 years. I'm not sure if he wrote it, but for some reason I thought he did. What is this song? When You Wake up Feeling Old?

I think that is a reasonable price for this band in that venue. I wish I wasn't going to be in Michigan

I don't understand why we can't comment on songs that they are performing right now. They decided to play them so they must be presentable in the bands eyes.

How can you leave out Sat 11/25 Guns N' Roses @ Allstate

I watch the KROQ thing on the computer. Too many solos and time between songs, otherwise I thought the performance was good. Buckethead is/way way better than Bumblefoot though. Way better.
