You seem to have good taste in men! You really should. Generally gentle tunes but often cutting lyrics. There was an earlier best of compilation called 'Carry On Up The Charts' that I would recommend. The latest best of 'Solid Bronze' may be as good, it's just that I don't really know the last couple of albums. I'm quite surprised that they don't register on the US radar seeing as they have been around so long and had so much success (initially anyway). Maybe just too English. -

I'm definitely too old for indie discos 'til dawn With that and all the drinking, the typo "Brain Jonestown Massacre" might have been a proper description. Morning campers! -

They did Arnold Layne on Later with JH (no Bowie of course, but C & N were there ans said that they'd come back to perform properly themselves next week), but I suppose you would have known that one. I had that first album and Dark Side of the Moon on cassette taped from a friend, but that is the only stuff of theirs that I've ever owned. -
Just to see how much I agree with.

Pitchfork article about mining music tastes...

I loved Pandora until it became a banned site at work after about a week. I think they have a special watch on my PC now -
I love that song, and the story that goes with it from WWII - Brits in the desert hearing it the original German version (probably not Dietrich as she was a prominent anti-Nazi in exile, but maybe, I'm not sure) on German radio and tuning into the sentiment and adopting it themselves. I like the German version better than the English. Same with Silent Night.

I've just been given some indication from the Corn Exchange Box Office that I was successful. Hurrah! I was beginning to wonder if I should have given you the money last Thursday if you were going to queue. Listened to the mix yet? I'll check the train / B&B situation tomorrow. -

If the pictures are just on your hard drive, AND you are a paid up gold member, then you should have an option to add 'File Attachments' that will upload pictures onto VC - showing them as a thumbnail in the post that can be clicked on to display full size. Otherwise you'll have to go down the route of getting them hosted somewhere on the web and then linking to them.

I have been indifferent to BS for a while, but it's good to hear that this recent transformation is capable of delivering meaningful and emotional performances. Was this in a big arena venue or something more condusive?

Err, how to put this without causing offence Does the vocal stylings of the S'&'S House Choir mean that this has a 'you had to be there' quality about it? Whilst I'm sure the ladies were singing like angels, I'm worried about a Stardog falsetto. -

Wow! They reserved that many tickets for locals? Given that it doesn't appear to be tha largest of sites (any idea on the numbers?) I'm wondering how I will have fared. My ticket application must have been there on time, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for an email notification today or tomorrow. -
