  1. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=1...-name_page.html The 43-year-old star was caught emerging from the bushes after a sexual encounter with pot-bellied jobless van driver Norman Kirtland on the notorious homosexual haunt Hampstead Heath. He claimed the van driver from Brighton, East Sussex, was not unattractive despite later describing him as a Bernard Manning lookalike. George chuckled: "I mean as much as I don't want to be ageist or fattist, it's dark out there but it's not that dark. I've no idea who that guy was - but thank you very much, whoever he was." Norman Kirtland
  2. I wouldn't call myself a great Dylan fan, but I like it alot, if that gives any perspective on the views of an 'average punter'. I have or have had, that, Blood on the Tracks, Desire, Nashville Skyline, an early Greatest Hits type thing, Freewheelin' . I think that someone here recommended it to me a couple of years ago. And of course, with that first track Bob invented drum'n'bass
  3. Yeah, but it means I'll be banned from the Kylie Return Tour pre-sale.
  4. The thing that makes me most sad about this whole affair is that there were the first signs of a re-emergence of an independent Lebanese government with a developing popular support calling for increased efforts to shake off the Syrian domination of the last few decades. It would not surprise me if Hezbollah had stepped up it's attacks deliberately in the hope of stirring things up in order to re-establish it's power base and try and get the rest of the Arab world back on side and renew Syrian influence. Israel didn't disappoint them with it's response. Sounds familiar with the campaign of the

  8. Number 7 hit home 1, OPENING JARS - nnng, she's struggling. You take it from her hands, open it effortlessly and pretend she loosened it for you. She didn't. Jars are men's work. 2, CALLING SOMEONE 'SON' - Especially policeman but even saying it to kids makes you the man. 3, DOING A PROPER SLIDE TACKLE - Beckham free kicks? Gay. A Stuart Pearce tackle is the pinnacle of the game, simultaneously winning the ball and crippling the man. Magic. 4, SHARPENING A PENCIL WITH A STANLEY KNIFE - Blunt, is it? Hand it here love. No, I don't need a sharpener, you think I can't whi

  15. Good. Hope he doesn't clash with Amadou & Mariam. In other news - Cat Power is at the roundhouse in November. Possibly my fave of the year so far, but I'm wary of her flaky live performances, so I probably would not go. And Sufjan Stevens is at the Barbican but already sold out. Both may be indicative of wider tours for those who are interested.

  19. I'm more of a Champions man myself (Sharron ) http://www.thechampionsfan.homestead.com/ I also came across an original Star Trek episode on TV over the weekend that I had never seen before. I woul dhave betted that I had seen them all. I don't think I have ever sat through a whole episode of any of the many follow up attempts.
  20. The "Lost" of its day I suppose. I have now lost track and given up on "Lost" - mid second season here.
