Malkmus jammed for 2 hours with the "super"-group (ha) Soldiers of Fortune last night at the tiny Max Fish in NYC in front of 50-75 folks. They played two 1-hour sets that were basically one long, super-loud jam. It was the kind of shit I dreamed Pavement would do back in the Wowee Zowee days. Also got to tell Matt Sweeney (Chavez) how important of a tune Unreal is Here was for me back in the day. Here's the first 10 mins of the 2nd set. Can't see much but it sounds great imo.
