Ok, couldn't sleep yet due to having just found & of course having to watch my last solo show on YouTube (search Tweedy TriBeCa if interested).... it's amazing in oh so many ways, with many similarities to tonight's show, including plenty of Abyss banter. I'm going down with my best in October, plain & simple. Verlander could have walked the bases loaded there & still would have been given the chance to get out of it. I'm not surprised he got yanked because he's been a 7 inning pitcher for his career but I'd take 75% Max over 100% of any Tigers reliever.

When's Prince Fielder stepping down? Brutal performance. Can't believe Leyland didn't swap Victor & Prince in the lineup at some point. Tigers pen is always shaky & Sox been clutch late all year. I despise the Sox but never ever count them out. I did find it comical that Gillette was half-empty when Sir Tom performed his late magic yesterday, though I suppose a good many didn't want to miss first pitch.
