one of the beneficiaries is acm@uco (academy of contemporary music @ university of central oklahoma). it's a great school for the students - a "school of rock" if you will, headed up by the manager of the flaming lips. i work at the university and would gladly welcome all donations!

let me rephrase what i wrote up earlier and deleted... i'd feel guilty about making a print from a computer image. but if there are no other ways to find this poster, am i still feeling guilty? probably... but anyway, the low-resolution would be a huge issue to blow it up that big. and i like the handcrafted screenprint anyway. yeah, i've already contacted the artist and he doesn't have any in stock, even though it says "buy" on that page.

i'm dvr'ing each morning's race to watch later that night - it's killing me to have an espn.com blackout from late-morning throughout the day! don't want to spoil the results... i thought i heard 10 crashes, and maybe more yesterday? it was like bicycle bowling out there... the pins kept crashing down... and can't say i'm too sad to see contador that far behind. but it's still a young race, and anything can happen in the next 2 weeks!

ha! that's not all i was screaming... you are correct about wetbrook's ego and emotion getting the better of him at times. we've seen it all year and take the bad with the good. hopefully the coaches (scott brooks and mo cheeks, who were both point guards) will do some schooling over the next day or so. seems like this year may be the changing of the guard, with the spurs looking down and out, dallas and the lakers being tested.

as a thunder fan, i'm not seeing us play our best ball either. we can play so much better, but haven't shown it yet in this series. for us to play as bad as we did last night and nearly win it? crazy... but yeah, westbrook tends to go bad russ/good russ sometimes and last night we got bad russ. too selfish, stupid mistakes, 30 shots, and in hero mode. what scares me is now denver's shooters seemed to find their stroke last night. but i'll take a 3-1 lead coming home for game 5
