According to the tech specs on Stanton's site, the outputs are "phono", which means you probably need a phono preamp to re-equalize the output. It's actually a little bit vague. Try a used hi-fi store for a nice little integrated amp w. a phone stage, and a nice pair of used bookshelf speakers. In Chicago, we have Saturday Audio Exchange. www.audiogon.com is a nice online resource for used hi-fi, and you definitely have a better chance of getting a functional unit over eBay.
