It's a great album. Worth noting that on the Wilco comp What's Your 20? there are 6 songs each from BT, ST and YHF. None of the other records are as highly represented. Just an observation.

I have tried to do this. I have contemplated it. I just can't do it. Only 5? Nope, I can't. -
That's worse. So if I'm anti-war, I'm with the terrorists?? Bush and Cheney should both be in prison for war crimes. By the way, according to this story, he DID say what I quoted him saying: http://edition.cnn.com/2001/US/11/06/gen.attack.on.terror/ EDIT: Never mind, I see the confusion. He said both. During a press conference with French president Jacques Chirac, he said, "You are either with us or you are against us." In a joint session with Congress, he said, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." Here is an interesting perspective on Bush's comments from Ge

Many Americans today think nationalism is patriotism. They are totally confused. Bush didn't help matters when he literally said, If you're not for us, you're against us. I was against him. He can (still) fuck off. I'm actually kind of looking forward to being an ex-pat, which will be after I retire. I'll actually be living in a so-called "developing" country, but one where transgendered individuals are fairly common and don't get half the flak they get here in our "developed" world. Go figure.

Totally varies from venue to venue. Outdoor amphitheaters often have a curfew to factor in. I saw them three times last week, and all three start times were different, if I recall correctly. Check the showtime and add an hour or so for the opener, assuming there is one.

I think YMMV, depending on what you like/what bothers you, etc., etc. I know many people love the Marsalis material, and there are arguments to be made for Brent vs. Vince and so on. For myself, I still gravitate almost exclusively to late 60s, 70s, and very early 80s Dead. For a couple reasons. 1) Jerry's voice - Not to start a debate, but I find that Jerry's Persian-related decline (and smoking didn't help) really makes him hit or miss from '78 on. Even early- to mid-80s shows are often intolerable for me due to the "froggy Jerry" phenomenon. By the late 80s, recovery or no recovery, his
