What would he do today anyway? Fend off the Banger Sisters?

Oh hey holy shocker you don't like something.

Ray of Light is a great video.

But suicides are generally private affairs that leave the victim to be found by a loved one. This guy sucks. I say fuck him.

Yeah, and The Hours wasn't bad either. You win (lose?) -
One reason: He won't be banging her.

I've got the vinyl remaster in my Amazon cart but I'm freezing up when I go to pull the trigger. Are most of the 'too noisy' complaints regarding the CD remaster? -
Yeah, Betty is all kinds of fucked up. Poor Sally.

I once went to see The Hours and Old School back-to-back. -
Sorry I was busy writing fanmail to Fiona.

I think I'd be fine with Peggy going to a Dylan show, but I'd probably draw the line at her meeting him backstage with Pennebaker filming their interaction. It's not such a fine line between tasteful and Forrest Gump.

Yeah, and I agree with your original point. It'd good if they avoided the obvious cultural tie-ins a lesser show would be all over.

Makes sense to me. She seems like a fascinating, intoxicating person, but I don't really care for her music.
-
I was trying to make out the music playing at the "..." (since Peggy's new pal couldn't bring herself to call it a 'party') - sounded really trippy for '65, but I don't doubt Mad Men when it comes to details like that.
-
Fuuuck, that "rolling home" at 30 seconds.

Hilarious synopsis of Gin and Juice

Odd note, since the dude (IIRC) actually announces that he's gotta piss like a motherfucker (or something) at the start of the song, before the sound starts. -
Thanks folks. Our little family partied til the wee hours of the morn'*. *9PM actually
