Another amazing show that kept me on my toes all night in more ways than one. Loved all of the omissions, additions and shuffling. Tough to pick a favorite night. Glad I went to both (as I have in the past) and maybe this will convince more to take a risk to see more than one show in the same place. That setlist is what I have as well. I counted 23 nothings. Loved Jeff’s banter about the giant glass of light beer. “It’s a bit of an oxymoron. Right?” And he called out three guys in front who were texting. Surprised the most about getting On & On & On. Perfect! Someone To Lose

That was a fucking killer old school encore! So amazing! I always expect the amazing, but the show is so well paced & fresh. Can’t wait for night 2. Staying in Boston over night 10 minutes from the venue. Came back in time to catch 4th quarter of Patriots’ game @ 11pm. Edit: Everyone stood the whole night right from the moment that they came out. And I could tell. I was in the last row in box seats. Had 2 people to the right of me.

It looks like several folks over in the FB group are listening to the record today. I’m guessing that they received it early from the Wilco store. Great interview with Mikael. Extremely interesting to hear him talk about what happens before a show. He also mentioned that they tend to look at prior setlists for each specific city to see what they played last time. I think we’ve heard maybe Jeff mention the same thing in the past. Love how the album version of White Wooden Cross sounds. I have 3 of the September shows and noticed how much percussion Glenn is doing on it. I don’t recall hear

I like to check the late night talk show listings on the Interbridge website and they list Wilco as musical guests for Monday evening’s show. I’m guessing they’ll just be getting back in from their overseas shows. http://www.interbridge.com/lineups.html

That Eastwood film, The Ballad Of Richard Jewell, just got a December 13th release date. Quick turnaround for Oscar bait.

https://www.spin.com/featured/wilco-interview-jeff-tweedy-nels-cline-ode-to-joy/ Jeff & Nels interviewed by Spin. It sounds like We Were Lucky is going to have Nels shred. Interesting interview that discusses the releases of Star Wars & Schmilco. Also more discussion about setlists and recording. This interview was probably done when they were in NYC for BUILD.

RE: I’m The Man Who Loves You - Is Jeff coming in early on the song on this tour? It sounds like they’ve cut a bit out of the intro to get right to the opening line. -
Residual checks for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It’s available on iTunes & Spotify.

Just coming here to post the same exact thing! Lol! I think it is! Excellent video full of Easter eggs.

Some big announcement is coming tomorrow morning at 10am on WXRT. The detectives over in the other group found on streaming site Deezer that Everyone Hides is scheduled for release tomorrow. Or it could also be a show announcement. Edit: I took another look at the Deezer snapshot and it shows Ode To Joy being released on October 3rd. I don’t think Europe is getting it a day earlier.

Someone over at the FB group showed the printed setlist which had Born Alone after Bull Black Nova. It also showed I’m A Wheel as the last song after The Late Greats. -
Great song! I’ve never heard that one live. Looks like we also got the tour premiere of Radio Free Europe on 9-11-99. I somehow forgot about that.

Jeff Tweedy recently appeared on the 8th episode of the Comedy Central series South Side. The episode is titled Weird White Murderer and was originally broadcast on Wednesday September 11th. It’s available On Demand or on the Comedy Central App.

Yes. Spot on! In terms of Wilco, I'd say the solo brings to mind Everlasting Everything, Where Do I Begin & Magnetized.

Thanks to a kind soul I was able to listen to the Oslo show. It was my choice to ingest/digest some new Wilco. I figured that I've already heard 3 new songs, so I'm down to get to listen to 5 more. I've played the new songs a lot since this past Tuesday. I wish that I remembered how to do a spoiler. It is very much Glenn's chance to shine. The sounds that he's creating definitely reward first listen and subsequent listens. And that's just from one live show. I'll look for the spoiler tag, but I will say that I'm extremely looking forward to October 4th. Oh, I can say that Hold Me Anyway is my

It’s on the Bittersweet Me cd single. According to setlist fm, it was played 6 times on the Monster Tour. They also did an awesome version of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game on that tour.

Thanks so much for the report! I was checking here, setlist fm and the FB group and wasn’t sure if we’d get any news. 6 new songs is fantastic. Yes, I know that we’ve heard 2 of those. Hope to check back here on the thread for some brief descriptions of those new tunes.
