Seems like a long way to travel to retrieve a bracelet. -

Um, that was mine. You have my mailing address, right? Also the gold bracelet. -
I love that whole show.

I can see the fascination, but...what a way to make a living!

Wilco very briefly in Sir Nicks latest video
kidsmoke replied to Albert Tatlock's topic in Just A Fan
Too cute. Is Mikael taking hairstyling tips from Jeff now? Also love John's little cowlick. Michelle, I also thought it was "Brady Bunchesque"! If they had begun glancing around at each other..... -

Thanks for keeping us updated, Paul. Happy travels to you! -
Ashtray, you get somewhere safe...a deep solid basement? (You didn't happen to see 4 horsemen while you were out & about, did you?) (Was Jim Cantore riding?) The ferocity of these storms is horrifying. I live in serious earthquake country, but as horrible as those can be, I've always thought that tornados were more terrifying, if only for the sheer capriciousness of how they strike...one house might be completely demolished while the neighboring house is untouched. An earthquake is more evenhanded in its destruction. Please, be as careful as you can be. How long does "tornado season"

A Lotti review paints an indelible picture, for sure. The only thing that could be better would be to have Lotti as a concertgoing companion! Though the "schnapps dose of fierce style" might interfere with the "comfort feelling in stomach pit" in us lesser mortals. Welfare right back at you, Lotti dearest. -
That's some chilling footage on the news. I hope all of you in those regions are doing alright. So much damage, so quickly! God bless you & keep you.

Glad you had a great trip! Good ol' In & Out Burger.

What does your upcoming concert schedule look like?
kidsmoke replied to EstimtedProphet's topic in Someone Else's Song
Great minds think alike...that's 2/3rds of the bands I'm wanting to see but haven't quite committed to yet: Elliott Brood, March 3rd Drive-By Truckers, March 14th John K. Samson, April 6th Money's tight with son Tom getting married in March, so I'm trying to behave, but these shows tempt! -

Really?! Great band in a great little venue...I wonder if I could make this? Hmmm. -
I'm just curious. Which ones, and why do you follow them?

Problem Signing In (just last 2 days)
kidsmoke replied to roadhse ma's topic in Speakers Speaking In Code
Yeah, we are aware of the coding problem with the sign-in button, and are trying to get that fixed. Fortunately it can be worked around by the method you're using, or by clicking "View New Content" which will give an error message saying you aren't logged in, but you can then log in from there. Workin' on the bugs. -
I'm so happy for you who will get to see this mini-tour! Have a blast.

The "One Sunday Morning" one is yours? Terrific job! Also love the stop-motion one. Kudos to Richie Wireman and Warner Swain!

If it was me, I'd drive down Sunset Blvd., which is an education in itself, and then let it take me all the way out until it empties onto Pacific Coast Highway at the ocean. From there, a little drive will take you to the pier at Santa Monica to play. This drive gets you the rush and roar of Hollywood, then a longish, pretty drive of winding road, then the rush and roar of the Pacific Ocean. A pretty great drive. Edit: I was looking at a map just now...if you exit the 101 fwy. in the Echo Park area (maybe Alvarado or Silver Lake Blvd.) and travel north up to W. Sunset Blvd., then turn west

So I have something to admit that is both sad and funny
kidsmoke replied to AJ673's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
You men are so adorably predictable. Congratulations on your clean knobs, Alison. -
Oh man, I want to come! But seeing as it's a week after my son's wedding (yay!) I don't expect I'm going to have any discretionary funds left for flying around the countryside. Damn anyway! Those of you close enough to go, or able to travel in, have a magnificent time! I know these shows are so much fun because of all the reports of those who went in the past. I'll be there in spirit, and reading all the reviews after! And wow, $75 for tickets up front sounds very reasonable to me, and a benefit at that! Go! Have a blast! Tell us about it after!!!

I'm sorry that's the case, howdjadoo. I have forwarded your concern on to Cupid, so let's hope he aims carefully and finds you someone just right. It is hard to be alone, and especially on a day all about romance. But keep the faith...true love will find you. It'll happen when you least expect it, like it always seems to!

Love you!

Getting Hitched! (elope or no?) What was your wedding like?
