How lucky for me that Brennan is doing volunteer hours at the local library! He's there right now, so a simple phone call & now he's bringing it home in about half an hour. Talk about service! Unfortunately "The Devil in the White City" has been checked out since forever. I may have to break down and buy that.

This story has been going on for hours now, and just keeps getting worse. At first there were no fatalities listed, but the count has now climbed to ten dead, 40 injured. Rescue workers are having a hell of a time getting through the wreckage. So very sad. God bless all involved and their families, many of whom still can't even get news about their loved ones.
