Lucky you! Tell us details.

Yes, but what we really need is a statistician to compile our results and figure out what they mean. Volunteers? Mike, why don't you head up the analysis and when I tell Jeff the results, I'll remind him that Florida exists. Deal?

That's good to hear!

This is already looking ugly. I hope the rescues are successful.

Hi all, I know this huge, dangerous hurricane is going to make life miserable for some of you over the next several days. Let us know how you're doing and where you are. Please take all the advised precautions and then some! Stay safe.

How cool! And yes on the cheekbones.

Just wait til Jeff learns our plans for his future career!

What? No show tunes?!!
-
Your replies are interesting! Lots of longing for 6! And yes Albert, I think we can categorize "Capitol City" as a show tune. Personally, I'd like to see them try "Oklahoma" but maybe that's just me. We need more replies so that we can be statistically significant. Then I will see to it that the band gets the results.

So please join me in wondering aloud what it is we all want from Wilco. You know they will appreciate our opinion! Here are several types of songs for you to choose between. Nine in total. Go ahead and rank them in order of preference...wait, I'm adding a 10th, which we'll call "Other", for those categories that have escaped me. Please do define your "other" briefly. Ok so order these choices 1 through 10 and we'll finally Know what the Wilco Fan wants From Wilco. Sorry for the Capitalizations, I've been reading trump tweets Today. Here are the categories. 1.) Experimental noise-pop 2.

Really. Let's cut to the chase already.

I love this song, especially the lyrics: "Maybe it's a fever that you haven't caught yet, because you haven't met Scott McCaughey" Cracks me up every time. Love you Scott!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I remember how concerned you were about him. Such a waste.

How are you spending your day? We are lazy-hanging-out, lots to BBQ in a little bit, after I make us a mega-batch of guacamole. On Labor Day, we honor the Labor Movement...by doing as little labor as possible. Now crank up the music!
-
Somewhat my fault...I didn't have time to post earlier in the day, so my birthday wish went up late. But no matter! Belated birthday wishes are just as sweet, if anyone wants to chime in now. It's still Jeff's Birthday Week!

You are the wind beneath our wings! Sorry this is so late...busy day!...but I couldn't let today get by without a huge shout-out of love to our favorite bandleader! I hope your day has been magnificent, Jeff! Don't burn your beak on those candles!

I'm so deeply sorry for your pain. I hope you can hold onto the sweet memories, and get past the sense that "there must have been some way you could have known." You loved him and enjoyed his company. Be glad you were able to give him that gift. You couldn't have known.

How was this? Great I'll bet!
-
I really want to see this!
-
How scary for you and him! But it sounds like you are calm and practiced at dealing with it. Best of luck! I hope your good vibes prove to be true on the employer's end, too!

...what music is appropriate for when you are watching your government go down in flames? Any suggestions welcome. I'm thinking Mendoza Line.

I love the British even more than usual today.
