Is it the lyrical imagery? The musical tone? The overall attitude? Or do you just need to turn up your thermostat? I'm thinking of all of you about to be in the thick of this polar vortex monster arctic storm. I hope you can all mostly shelter in place until the worst is past. K'nex sets are terrific. Stomp rockets are a ton of fun. Oh and those super long rocket balloons from Hearthsong. Also those sinuous zip-tracks are surprisingly sturdy and really entertaining for kids. My 3 all loved them. One more: domino sets. Not even to play dominoes, although that's fun too...but to make domino runs to knock down.

Good news, Australian fans! The audiobook of "Let's Go (So We Can Get Back)" will be released in Australia on January 31st. It will totally be worth the wait! This is due to there being different publishers in different countries, each of whom sets their own release date.

No, "Ouch! will be the name of the next Wilco album, following the 2 Tweedy releases, "Warm" and then "Warmer" in the Spring. Warm, Warmer, Ouch! I kid, I kid, that's what a kidsmoke does!

It was a charity event to raise funds for a mental health facility in Chicago. I was lucky enough to be able to join our little band of 20. The Tweedys have put on a couple of these and there may be more in the future! All monies going to great causes.

No, I was part of a Loft tour group and he told us then. Said he hadn't wanted to make another double album so he'd split it between 2 albums, one for now and one for Spring.
