I'm looking into a humbucker as my neck pup, and have researched the JD bridge pup. Are you using a three way or four way switch? What sounds are you getting?

I got mine for around 500.00,added a set of brass saddles and the thing sustains for ever. I'm about to change out the pups,and that will put me right at 700.00. This thing will never leave my side, and Fender's for that matter. I plan on going Gibson when I'm retired and wan't a serious hobby.

Some volume pedals have an EQ on the side to know the exact level your at.

I learned never to play a guitar out of my price range, man it hurts when you realize what quality actually is.

It is really hard to say that one guitar can fit every need. There are many guitars I would love to have, and not in a selfish manor either. The quest for tone is never ending and ever so frustrating.
