I have no problem with people not going to games until the team is good. During the 1988 election, I was a first grader, and every class at my elementary school voted on who they thought should be President. I gave an impassioned speech in favor of Dukakis, and apparently it worked, because my class was the only class in the whole school that didn't vote for Bush. Republicans in Congress wouldn't really have all that much power to try to overturn it themselves beyond getting anti-choice judges appointed to the Supreme Court. The second half was a lot more of what I expected. They looked great early, but did you really think Threet could keep it up for 4 quarters? I wonder how much better they'd be this year if Mallet had stayed. He'd still be working with very shallow receiving core, and no real offensive line to speak of, but Threet and Sheridan are both terrible, though Sheridan is definitely a lot worse.
